Morning Everyone, Sports journalist Russ Vernonare believes we are lining up a move for Rotherham United winger Kieran Agard. The highly rated 24 year old is out of contract in the summer and as he has not agreed a new deal at his club, could be available on a free transfer. The versatile winger has amassed an impressive 25 goals in all competitions for Rotherham. Thoughts? Cellino has outlined his desire for home grown talent :- Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the club owner said: âThe academy at Leeds, it costs us £2million a year and we donât grow any players or not enough. Itâs not giving us enough, or anything. Benito [Carbone] will help me to rebuild the academy, to make it good, to make it better.â Blimey, 2m a year to keep Thorp Arch going. How is that done. Naylor and Redders wouldn't be on more then lets say £10k a month, surely. The young players don't have professional contracts yet, so their wages would be nominal. We really are hemorrhaging money.
Morning ell, and everyone Agard sounds like a decent shout as long as he can make the step up. Has to be more effective than Kebe anyway! Facing a nice long 200 mile round trip back to Durham for a 1 hour meeting today, fantastic way to spend a Tuesday
Morning Elland. Think we'll be linked with just about every man & his dog. However bad we've been this season, we're till a massive draw. And with Cellino's money ehind us, we can afford to be a bit picky as to who we sign. We know Kebe won't be staying. So there's at least one spot available. & BMD has wanted to play with wingers. Its just that Kebe hasn't worked out, & Stewart is a work in progress. Not sure what's happening with Aniyibi though.
Morning all, I can't see any related player rumours being true just yet as I don't believe McD will be in charge next season. Cellino likes to make the signings, is he currently looking at UK based players, has he got his own scouts out over here, think its too early at the moment. Cellino keeps telling us how much we are losing, can't see him spending much if anything till the holes are plugged. McD still being in charge tells us Cellino is not wanting to spend what he doesn't have to at the moment, maybe things will start to move along when out of contracts have gone. Let's not forget he is still propping up his Italian team financially, I just hope he hasn't over stretched himself
Pretty sure he had asix month contract to try and prove himself. He was released by Southampton. Morning btw Glory, you alright fella
Morning ristac, it will be nice actually having some scouts!!! Did GFH actually introduce any scouts?
I thought BMac was "sorting our scouting network out"? Then again, suppose we couldn't afford one under GFH

Thx for asking, no. Not getting better, think my self diagnosis of gout may be wrong. Only having to wait two weeks for doctors appointment! #****ing Tories.
Phone doctors back, speak with a foreign accent tell them you've travelled 3k miles hanging under a lorry, you'll get straight in mate
£2m to run TA is easily done boys, and wouldn't be that bad if we got some returns from that investment. Rent and rates will be almost £1m alone and then you have ground staff, equipment hire/leases, coaching staff plus physios and medical equipment, utilities including water, electricity and gas and as part of the lease there will be annual work that needs carrying out to maintain the property to an agreed level (Reparations clause) We don't get any of the top kids any more because they all go to Man City where they look after their education in a boarding situation. Our kids parents have cash to pay to have their kids get involved in the lower tiers of the academy. Our academy is only Cat B and to get to the next level needs investment. Cellino should buy back TA and then sell it to the building developers because the place is worth more than we'll pay for it. We should then purchase some cheaper land and develop it to a higher standard (The standard that TA was had before it was mothballed and left to rot) Delph and Howson have been the best we've produced for years, and lets face it are they as good as the kids we produced under Hart and Wilko?
I don't think 2m is that much for an academy, and I think it does a good purpose. Don't really think Cellino has done his research on the players that have come out of it compared to others in england or at the very least this league, definitely doesn't need a major rebuild imo. but I'm always for improving things around the club so if he can do that with Carbone then good on him. Morning everyone
Good morning everyone.I suggested Cellino offers a reasonable rent for TA or finds alternative spot Glory what kind of pain are you suffering I have had gout attacks for the past 20 years so I know how painful it isI take Cocine tablets for pain relief or get yourself to Harrogate A AND E haven,t seen the boy from Rotherham but Don Weston was a great buy from there and a winger to boot!
Just been called in to LGI for yet more tests they are going to cut the cancer away I hope!Still something to look forward to today unlike that poor lady teacher what is the world coming too
Feel like a bit of a tart explaining symptoms and moaning to you with all you have going on. Big toe swollen, pad under toe is swollen, can't get shoe on, can't put weight on floor, can't bend toes.
