    Ain't football weird. Newcastle will finish well above us in the league yet the fans will be suicidal while we finish probably 4th from bottom and be delighted to be there.

    Very true but just shows you what a good start they had because if they didn't they could of easily went down with their 2nd half of the season form. Wonder if the manager gets the boot in the summer.

    There's only a two goal difference between us and the mags now, and we've only lost one game more than them. They're ****ing shocking. Almost as bad as us. <laugh>

    To me, it seems the players feel like they have nothing to play for. The management are content with top 10 finishes only and given our start we are more than likely to finish there. We were streets ahead of those below us. Just watching them play it is evident they have relaxed. The players are not at the same intensity and have not been all year.
