If City win their remaining games by the minimal one goal amount- we have 11 goals to close down. 5½ a game. Considering we have scored no more than 6 in a game all season (and that was whilst conceding 3), I don't think it is really realistic to expect us to beat City on GD. We've only once had a GD of +5 in a single game all season... against Spurs. We won't get more than that twice in a row now. No- but we can hope that City drop points... they've got one fight against a team who is very much in contention for top 4. And then two teams very much in the fight to survive. We need to win and secure both remaining fixtures- not throw them away hoping for mega scores.
All why we will lose this game..... 150,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 x the higgs bosom!
I can...... RHC knows the way around a bosom or two. He can help get the funds. If Not I will just get MFG to give back the time machine and win the lottery a few times over.
He only posts as 'Tobes', these days. This is another huge game. Hopefully we can win to keep the pressure on City, but a draw and the title is all but lost. My heart thinks we'll do it but my head is putting up a lot of protestation.
He left in a huff because everyone attacked him because of his pro-Rafa and anti-Rodgers views... even when neither were being discussed. I don't entirely blame him for leaving to be honest. He was a little stubborn and unwilling to change his views even after they became more and more out-dated regarding Rodgers- but I think he was unfairly picked on at times.
I have a feeling the title will be decided on the last day and that we will spoil the party at the Etihad. I don't get these feelings often, but when I do I've never been wrong.
Well on the positive side City with their three games left have an extra game in which they can screw it up, we have just two games where we need to do it right.
All we can do is win our 2 games and then it's over to City. If they win all 3 and beat us on goal difference then so be it, as long as we finish above Chelsea
He said he had a FEELING. Feelings are non-specific and therefore do not lend themselves to proofs. Now would you go to the Doc's with a sore hand and say "Feel the pain in this!"
That's how all this psychic and clairvoyant mumbo-jumbo is justified. "I have a feeling Liverpool will win" - Liverpool win - "boom! Told you! Psychic!" "I have a feeling Liverpool will win" - Liverpool don't win - "It was just a feeling and therefore not subject to empirical scrutinies" Anyway, all we can do right now is HOPE that City drop points, not EXPECT.
