With a smaller squad, of (still expensive but) not as expensive players Rodgers is above Mourinho. To me, that says, yes, Rodgers is the better manager of the two. Everyone always tells us the table doesn't lie.

Really? You'll go for the one who has constantly been to clubs with unlimited budgets- who has never developed a youth program, who has just been able to buy the top talent- rather than have an eye for up and coming talent. Leave Mourinho at one club for more than 3 years and it will start to collapse as the lack of development from within means they have to constantly buy from outside. Mourinho is probably the most over hyped manager in the league. He should be miles ahead of us with his funds. He even has our two top transfer targets from the last 9 months in his squad- and still is beneath us. If you've got endless money (or an already top side) and want a quick fix, sure Mourinho is your man. Put Mourinho at Liverpool/Everton/Spurs he wouldn't make Europa.
