Went out for a spot of tea with a Man Utd supporting mate (real one from Salford).
All he went on about was how the League is false.. Man Utd have been stitched up and it is only a temporary thing that Liverpool will take 'their' CL place.
Politely asked him if he was going to renew his soon to expire passport when we get back from Benidorm.... Didn't go down too well..... But made me glow...

Not safe yet fella, but from coming to terms with relegation, to a bit of hope, to a great chance of staying up, it's a chain of events I didn't expect and quite frankly, chuffed with. But even if we do stay up, the squad is still ****ed and a lot of work needs doing.

I'd agree here.
We're about as much ****ed as each other but we have Pardew and they don't so we have the extra cherry on the top of our ****ed cake.

When my Canadian lass suggested I get some "poutine" in a restaurant, I almost spat my drink allover her... I believe the words that followed were to the affect of "and you don't mind watching?"...

I'm surprised I'd never heard of such an obvious combination, considering the many English and Scottish fish and chip shops I've visited.
