http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-man-suffers-long-term-knee-injury Jenas twisted knee, tore his ACL today He is definitely gone for the playoffs, mind you he was struggling with a calf injury and so probably wouldn't have been considered
I really hope we don't renew it through some twisted sense of loyalty to injured players... I'd agree with Faurlin getting a 1yr contract extension, because he's been an exemplary servant to the club. Bar flashes, Jenas has contributed close to nothing
Spent a good deal of time with us on the treatment table - body just not up to playing top level football. At 31 with the injuries he has consistently been niggled by it wouldn't surprise me if he calls it a day. He's a reasonably eloquent chap - probably has a future in the media.
Yeh well there's a few who have been doing there best to get that title. It's probably not their fault, but the high number of injuries does make you wonder about the training / physio and training ground standards. But back in the 70's we nearly won the League with a small squad, few injuries, and training pitches that looked terrible in comparison to todays.
Another crock, layed off for 9 months !! More money blown on another 3 legged horse. Not Likely to be JJ's fault, we could wreck the burnley squad in a fortnight a to be fair.
How many games have AJ BZ and JJ strung together this season? Terrible planning from the off to rely on old injury prone players in such a key season
We should change our name to QPH, the H is for Hospital. A retirement hospital for ageing players, very fashionable due to being London based!
I would like to add that I'm not a Jenas hater, a good player in his day but due a trip to the knakers yard now!
Seen very little of Jenas that suggests his injury is a blow to us, he had real potential when Bobby Robson had him but he has never really fulfilled it...
It wouldn't matter if he was Pele,I hope he goes as no player is worth it if they spend 90% of the season injured. Nothing against him but I hope he recovers well and we never see him again.
I fear that's the end of his career. A cruciate injury on top of all his other niggles and I would imagine he'll never play again! A good player who never fulfilled his potential. Get well soon Jermain.
