Between us we got 9 tickets for the semi final, some of us were season ticket holders some weren't. I'll be going for my ticket for the final in a few hours as I'm an east stand ticket holder. Once I've got my ticket could I give my semi final ticket for someone to use for phase 3? As I remember it doesn't have my name on it as I wasn't the lead applicant on the application form, so would the club have anyway of knowing that ticket was mine and I have already got a final ticket? If that makes sense
From what I believe the club knows who they sold each ticket to, so as long as you give the person all the details then I can't see a problem with it. As long as it doesn't affect me getting a ticket.
Or you could shell out for one of these. Distgusting. http://www.ticket4football.com/fa-c...CMrp-pyagb4CFQoYwwodVJ4AKg#.UzvC-aLSxUw?ppc=1
That's why it is nothing short of criminal that the FA hand 40000 tickets out to people who have absolutely no interest in the FA Cup Final. All the tickets should be allocated to the two teams playing in the final. If the week before the final all the tickets have not been sold then the FA can send them out to the other clubs. £450 for an £85 ticket, I don't think disgusting is a strong enough word.

Merch, one ticket in our area is 11 times its face value, £660 instead of £60. ****ing disgraceful.
Some people are selling ticket stubs from the semi on ebay. Am I right in assuming that you couldn't just turn up at the KC for phase 3 with one of these and get a ticket for the final? I'm guessing they know who bought tickets for the semi?
They do indeed know who bought tickets for the semi and they know which of those have bought tickets for the final. What the OP asks could be done if some semi attendees on the application have not yet got their tickets but note then that someone who WAS at the semi will miss out on their final ticket as you'll have cheated them so if you do this you and the one who takes advantage are a grade A ****s and deserve to break both your legs on the morning of the final. So saying you are or do, just generally making that statement to anyone who may be considering this.
i have a season ticket, i apply along with 5 others for a semi final ticket, im on the application form but not as the lead applicant the lead applicant pays for all the tickets i now have a final ticket because i have a pass and attended the semi so do the club know which semi final ticket was allocated to me even though it didnt have my name on it (only the lead applicant)
I just think it's pretty ****ty that if you went to the semi you get to be in phase 3, regardless of whether you went to any other games this season. Yet if you missed the semi, but attended numerous other games this season you have to wait til phase 4 (which obviously isn't going to happen). Tonnes of day trippers will be eligible for phase 3 when a number of real fans will miss out.
It would have been more underpants table* (!) if the club mentioned whilst trying to sell tickets for the semi that priority for non passholders would be for those attending the semi in attempt to sell a few more, but to just do it like that post semi is a bit strange. As I mentioned on the queuing thread, they should have had some sort of priority system for non passholders to taking other games attended into account also. Not only would it have rewarded those who have attended more for their support it would also have helped dramatically cut down what is sure as hell going to be one of the most ridiculously long 1 or 2 day long queues mankind has ever seen. *i must have hit a wrong letter as the ipad corrected 'understandable' to 'underpants table' but it made me chuckle enough to let it stand. Stupid thing, what a **** up
Yes but the priority should have been for those attending FA Cup games - particularly the early rounds, ie Boro, Southend or Brighton. After all, this is the FA Cup. If they'd included home games too it would have boosted attendance for the Brighton replay. Maybe next year when we defend the trophy ...
I get pissed off when reading people moaning about real fans missing out on tickets. Real Fans? A real fan should support the club all year round, not just at Wembley or against the big teams. Before someone tells me they cant afford it I put it to anyone moaning that if you can afford a £100+ trip to London for one game you can afford a £400 season pass over the year. My point is if you want priority, support the club and buy a season ticket.
So attending 2 or 3 Cup games at reduced prices should give priority over someone attending 8 or 9 league games at full price?
Yes. Fans who attend games regardless of the opposition or competition. Luckily most of our FA Cup matches were away or else they would have been played in a piss poor half empty KC!
Those who went to Brighton and Southend from here were season ticket holders who went to the semi, so were already covered by the current arrangements. Putting those who only went to the semi ahead of those who go to every home game would be daft, not to mention in breach of our own ticketing rules.
So, someone who watches us play Sunderland in the Cup is more deserving of a ticket than someone who watched us play them in the league? If someone watched 3 Cup games and no league games they are more deserving than someone who watched 8 or 9 league games? Not forgetting that those league games could well have been the less attractive league games as they were the ones with tickets more readily available Going to a couple of cup games and a day out to Wembley does not make someone more important to the club than someone who attends 8 or 9 league games. As I said before it is amazing how people who couldn't supposedly afford reduced price cup games in Hull or a season pass can suddenly find the money for 2 Wembley trips which would have paid in many cases for a season pass.
For the cup, probably yes, because there's a lot of ennui about the cup. But not ahead of season ticket holders.
