Folks, I know there has been much discussion on our forum of late as to wether Steve Bruce et all are dragging their heels in the transfer window. But the worrying aspect for me is the new found interest all of our potential targets are attracting all of a sudden. Lets look at the situation as of almost an hour ago...latest reports are suggesting GARDNER approaches have been made by Wolves with one Football rumours site going as far to suggest that hes had a medical at Wolves LARRSON is apparantly attracting interest from Villa, with Mcliesh about to make a move to hijack his move to us JI DONG WON is now 'torn' apparantly as to wether to sign for us or PSV WESTWOOD reports now coming in suggesting that Leeds have made a move,which given the fact theyve sold Kasper Schmeical, may have some hint of truth about them NZOGBIA a straight fight between us and Liverpool Now whilst the intention of this post is not to scare monger I just think this heel dragging is gonna come and bite us on the arse..What do you think

Not bothered about Westwood either way. I decided the other day I'm going to sit back and wait. Doesn't help much as I still thinking we aren't showing as much intent as others.

why would westwood choose leeds over sunderland? if he wanted to stay in the championship he may as well stay at coventry, not a chance this will happen. He will sign for us on july 1st
...and that's exactly what I'm doing. There's no point in getting worked up about everything, because there is **** all we can do about it anyway. There will undoubtedly be disappointments during this transfer window, but I'm quite sure that whoever the targets are, there are back up options for the same positions should we miss out on the main targets. Keep the sunny side up. Too much infighting between us, but its always been that way with SAFC fans I think. Its part of our charm. Some love one player, others loathe them. The local press crucified him mate, especially after the U21's were knocked out the other night.Ive lost count of the amount of Kopites who think theyve been taken to the cleaners by us. Its a worry really, think theres an awful load of pressure on the young lad
The key thing on the listed targets is that most of them, they'd have been 'numbers only' signings anyway. N'Zogbia was blown at Christmas, and Larsson will sign. I'd like Westwood, but he'd be third choice, so if he doesn't come, i won't exactly choke on the disappointment.
that's not good for the young lad...hope he can deliver for them.. had one of that lot on here the other day saying " we are the most patient fans in the country" bollocks, if jordan doesn't deliver, and quickly, they'll crucify him...and nick his shirt for the car boot.
Bar N'Zogbia, who you guys are unlikely to sign anyway (I think we've been put off due to £60k+ a week wage demands), the players mentioned are average. Larsson is decent with good dead balls, Gardner is decent, and Westwood/Di Jong-Won are unproven. Losing out to them is FAR from a reason to panic if you guys have aspirations to improve over last season.
