You had your albeit unpleasant, taste of this style of football, hell, Chelsea already sacked this guy because of this style of football Do you want it at United...even if it give you 21, 22. Is this what the class of 92 would want? Because I as a bitter watched them and loved the way they won.

I would love jose at United but he certainly wouldn't be defensive like at Chelsea. He just plays to chelseas strengths.
How many would they have scored had we not gifted them a goal? You could call it better tactics, or you call call it Mourinho's usually boring park the bus (and train) approach that got lucky. Fair play to them though. They came to Anfield with the intention of not conceding and the achieved it.
they have parked the bus many times before and its worked so I have no intention of arguing that. However, they were lucky in that Gerrard's error and slip presented them a lead. They got the second because we were desperately chasing a point from the game.

Impossible to say. I could say 9 and you have no way of proving otherwise. Fact is they came, they scored and they won. Not one chelsea fan, the players or jose himself will care if some think it was negative. I thought it was a perfect plan. Anything else was suicide. It showed that Rodgers is still naive. I wouldn't say outsmarted. He played not to conceed- and looked unlikely to score. He got the clean sheet he wanted- plus a bonus win. Other than a freak error by Gerrard that would have been a 0-0 game. The second goal wouldn't have occurred if we didn't have 10 men attacking in stoppage time trying to get the equalizer. We probably could have got an equalizer still- had our players not been too selfish. After half-time they all came out determined to be heros- shooting from silly angles and trying impossible shots instead of passing. A silly error and a breakdown of teamwork let us down. We lost to a greater degree than Chelsea won... lol... but unfortunately Chelsea still won. It was ugly football but it worked and I'm sure Chelsea fans won't complain about it being ugly. As a Liverpool fan- I would have taken an ugly win today over a pretty loss.
