The now former Manchester United boss has been immortalised in 11-foot tall bronze likeness thanks to a cheeky bookmaker Paddy Power's campaign please log in to view this image A David Moyes statue has been unveiled outside Anfield today. The 11-foot bronze likeness has apparently been commissioned for, as the plinth reads, "services to Liverpool Football club". The tongue in cheek monument is the work of cheeky bookmaker Paddy Power, and of course is in reference to Manchester United's poor season, coupled with the Reds likely title win. The 51-year-old lost his job earlier this week after a disastrous 10-months in charge at Old Trafford. This stunt isn't the first time the Irish bookies have had a pop at Moyes. Earlier this season they mocked up a model of Sir Alex Ferguson in an emergency glass box, before sending a Grim Reaper to Goodison Park last weekend. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/david-moyes-paddy-power-statue-3464921
Imagine if they put outside Old Trafford a statue of every Liverpool manager for their "services to Man Utd". We'd run out of ****ing room.
If its genuine bronze (or ANY form of metal) you can bet your life the scouse thieves will have it away by Monday AM. Or maybe its plastic, in which case its in good company
