was at redcar with him on monday "dont follow me big fella ive not sat on them" 2 winners and 2 places i never touched them them jockeys know nowt ????????????????? Wasnt happy stay frosty
I was looking at the jockey stats from the last NH season today - obviously AP champ again with 215 winners and a 24% win strike rate. Barry Geraghty just beat him on win strike rate with 24.14% (but only 56 winners from 232 rides). I was looking further down the table to see whether any of the less travelled jockeys had better strike rate and - bugger me - there sits Timmy Murphy with a 32.25% win strike rate - 11 winners from 34 rides with 4 seconds and a third, and a level stakes profit of 19.23. I wasn't aware of him being injured for long spells, but maybe he was? Or have his rides dried up since the sad demise of David Johnson? Whatever the reason, that's a decent strike rate, but only 34 rides is criminal for a man with his talent.
He injured himself in a changing brawl odddy and has had to have surgery on an old injury that was aggravated
This ROYAL MIZHAR in the last was up against some serious animals as a juvenile. If he retains any of his form 100-1 could be a little bit of fun!
Of course stick, I remember now Still a decent strike rate though and it would be good to see him getting more rides next season - providing he applies himself correctly and manages to put his demons behind him (which I know is a tall order, not being judgemental)
Look him up on twitter OddDy and tell him Dom Elsworth can have him any day........be good for a giggle!
LOL I'll tell the pair of them that Tom Scudamore is a better judge of fractions Atletico Madrid win 1-0 again - seems to be their standard result. I watched a bit of the game today against Valencia and it seemed more of the boring ****e they dished out against Chelsea (who I thought were magnificent at Anfield today btw, even though I wanted Liverpool to win)
The top of that league is tight as a nun's fanny Nass - could be anything from Champions to beaten in the play-offs. Exciting times. Fingers crossed for your lot mate
Sorry, of course, didn't realise the first 3 go up. Well done my son, you can go and watch the Spireites at Oakwell next season
I wanted Liverpool to win today but this "Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers accused Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho of "parking two buses" to get his side's 2-0 win at Anfield." is pathetic. Mourinho did what he had to do to get the result. No use moaning about it. Well done Nass and good luck in League 1
There is no denying that Mourinho is the best tactician in the football world, if he has to win or draw a football match he knows how to utilise the players he has to achieve his aims better than any other manager in my opinion, certainly in the Premiership. I was not unhappy as a neutral as I cannot stand Suaraez. I am quite mild mannered by nature but he winds me up in that he wants to con the ref at every chance yet asks for everything against him, and lets not even mention his biting. He did it again today dived and got a free kick and gave a little smile to himself. Now Yaya Toure is back I don't feel City will slip up, and how would Everton fans feel about winning the title for Liverpool? Now that Champions league football for them is highly unlikely I have no doubt some fans at least will be cheering a city goal. By the way the only thing to annoy me more than a Suarez dive is a top Jock letting his mount run wide all the way around Lingfield.
Great run from Treve today, and 2/1 for Ascot now Its hard to get carried away with the price because the race is nearly two months away and it will probably be a harder race than the Arc where she only had one horse to beat and was double the price on the day. The only slight worry I have is if they hold her up out the back again at Ascot, I think she can sit anywhere and she doesnt need a pacemaker, but really her cruising speed, turn off foot and ability to sustain that run in the final furlong should see her win the race from any position barring incredible bad luck. You also know she can breeze through anything resembling a gap which could come in handy at Ascot if needed. All in all, 2/1 looks an outstanding bet and ill be amazed if they go any bigger than that.
