To be fair. We have moved on from the match day thread. It makes no sense to rekindle memories of the negative :D

There is plenty of activity on other areas of the Liverpool board though?
 
As defensive as Chelsea were today, I think it would be wrong to feel hard done by. We were clumsy and not one players had a good game. Sturridge was anonymous, Johnson and coutinho kept passing to the Chelsea players and yet again Suarez fades in a big game. And Gerrard crumbled under the pressure.

Bitter? Think you'll find most on here wanted you lot to qualify for CL....while you've spent the year wishing any other team to do it over us while sucking off any poster that appears on the chav or United Board...

Divide in class on all levels clear to see....actually you on the United Board was appropriate: only satisfaction you can get is the failure of others.....your teams better than its fans if you're representative lol.....
 
I've enjoyed watching Liverpool especially when going forward, but Mourinho did a proper defensive job on Liverpool and respect due. I hope the scousers go on to take the tittle as they have been the most entertaining team this season, but if they do become champions they will have to find away to break down more formidable European defences, even though Chelsea can be regarded as a top European defence outfit also.

If by outsmarted, you mean sit 10 players, hoof it long and time-waste from then sure, consider Rodgers outsmarted. I wouldn't call it outsmarted, even my mum could come up with that 'brilliant' tactic, more of "here's what we're going to do, can you score?" The answer to that was no. We've not got the team or squad yet to break down 10 players. We don't have enough quality throughout the XI or on the bench.

You say I sound bitter, but I've never been happier as a Liverpool fan. We've had a ****ing great season and we're far from the finished article. Top 4 was a target plenty of 'pool fans didn't even expect to get. We're up there with 2 games left with a shot of still winning. Gutted that we didn't win, but still happy with the season wherever we end up now.

Yep. Ive said some things this season that have com back to bite me but i just get on with it. Shame these guys cant do the same.

Not all were but many were already claiming it was in the bag. Not just on here but some of the players.

gerrard - This will not slip...... slips over and gifts chelsea a goal...... beautiful.

Reminds me when he kissed the camera in the 4-1 at Old Trafford while our players kissed the trophy. Beautiful.

I don't think we will beat Palace though, even less so after the performance today.
 
OK so it's no longer in our hands. When it was we had to win every match! We've slipped-up but so have all of our rivals so there's no real reason to assume that they won't again.

We still have a 2 point margin over Chelsea so if we do win our next 2 that's them securely behind us. City have some injuries and their recent form isn't great. So all we can do is win our games and rejoice that we were in it to the last game of the season if we don't win it!

BUT

I STILL BELIEVE THAT WE CAN WIN THE TITLE

Your comment reminded me of the last time we won the Champions League, everyone wrote us off and they were all so so wrong. How you can write off this Chelsea team given there record in the big games is beyond me!!
