This Mourinho love-in is ridiculous.
Mourinho is evidently clairvoyant too, he foresaw the Gerrard error and planned his tactics around that.

Apart from Kalas they had 3 full internationals. 2 who have won the Premiership (Cole & Ivanovich) and where 1st choice at the start of the season, the other who was part of the EL winning team and has been first choice all season (Azpilicueta).

Then infront of that had 3 holding midfielders.

Was always going to be a struggle to get through them but had we not gifted them a goal I reckon we'd have won. Chelsea didn't cause us any problems going forward.

Rather finish 2nd and be entertained all season than play like that each week despite being the richest team in the league for the last 10 years.

Ah yeah, because if that hadn't gone in the game would have been exactly the same wouldn't it <doh>

If Gerrard hadn't made the error, he wouldn't have attempted to make amends by having 5 shots from distance. We wouldn't have had to try and push and break down Chelsea who had 10 men behind the ball and we could have continued to be relaxed and play our natural game.

Disagree tbh, Gerrard made the mistake and then wasted several chances trying to make up for it.
Johnson was useless as usual but we all know that.
Aspas though, wow, I hated when we brought Moses on, I would love Moses to come on over Aspas.
 
Still think it's an absolute shambles how the 'genius tactician' Mourinho is simply 10 behind the ball (although they do defend very well) and lump it upfield whilst time-wasting excessively. An expensive Stoke from old. Call be bitter in defeat if you like, but I've said this about him all season. I wish people would stop dry humping him as some mastermind of the game though. My mum could have come up with that tactic.

I'm still proud of our team. We wanted CL football and we've got it. Whatever happens and wherever we finish, we've done fantastically AND more importantly, we've done so playing attacking and exciting football. Who'd want to support anyone else?
 
Dont worry guys. Theres no chance of you slipping up. City have the hardest 4 games ever to play and Chelsea only win big games.

Suarez though.... not a single goal against top 4 sides this season.

Oh and he seemingly ignored the fact they until they scored you didn't have a shot on target lol
 
The thing is, we can expect the exact same from Palace. Will we find a way past them either?

I thing Suarez is largely spent for the season, and it was a bit much to expect anything without him at his very best.
