11 straight wins, we can't complain too much.

Seasons target was always CL football. So job done. Title challenge is a bonus (although it doesn't feel like it after today)
Credit to chelsea. They came with a plan and executed it perfectly
But the one player we could have done with today? Yevhen Konoplyanka.
Chelsea invited us to shoot from distance throughout the game because we don't really have anyone that can. Thats why Konoplyanka could be and could have been a good signing

To be fair, I can't think of a team who could find a way through 9 defenders and a goalkeeper. Bayern couldn't 2 years ago.
Ugly football, you know your team is **** when Stoke play more attractive football.
We deserved no less, no one made runs in the middle for nearly the entire match, we had to go over the top but everyone was static waiting for the ball into feet.
Other than that we played well, bossed the game but ultimately the lack of energy and movement up front made us very easy to defend against. Just hope this doesn't have an adverse effect on our remaining performances.

Yeah, thats what we need to remember. I don't see us beating Palace next weekend, so personally I hope city go on to win it.

Weakend defence?
Apart from Kalas they had 3 full internationals. 2 who have won the Premiership (Cole & Ivanovich) and where 1st choice at the start of the season, the other who was part of the EL winning team and has been first choice all season (Azpilicueta).
Then infront of that had 3 holding midfielders.
Was always going to be a struggle to get through them but had we not gifted them a goal I reckon we'd have won. Chelsea didn't cause us any problems going forward.

Today the lack of experience told. Fair play to Chelsea they parked the bus solid. I'm not going to blame anybody. We won as a team, we lost as a team.
