If Liverpool was thrown, then it was because we had a final the following week. I can accept that. Less easy to accept is picking a second string team for a chance to get in the QF of the FA Cup.

Hi Jackpa26. I agree we could have won the fa cup game had he not put out a second string team, the thing is we are safe 1 more season in the prem Great .

I can understand you concerns RJ but in my view

Our club dealt with a nasty piece of work in Laudrup's agent, who was adversely interfering in our business, and survived

Our club sacked a charismatic manager deemed to be having a detrimental effect on our core values, and survived

our club appointed an inexperienced rookie manager, and survived

our club played more games than any other team in the league, and survived

our club endured a horrendous injury list, and survived

our club endured unhappy players bitching to the press and survived

our club has effectivly lost the services of several of the players in an already small squad, and survived

our club lost the services of last seasons talisman and survived

All of this and our club survived

After the many storms our boys are still playing good football, better now than for a long time. They've just achieved back-to-back wins for the first time this season and, under enormous pressure, secured us a 4th straight season in the prem (was it ever in doubt?).

Our club is stronger, tougher, than anyone gives credit for, including us worn out, beleaguered fans. That's why I think we're OK RJ. Regardless of everything that has been thrown at us this sh1tty season, we have coped, survived and, looking at the demeanor of the players lately, thrived.

The summer, bring it on, we will survive.
