In the last decade, of the 30 teams that were promoted 13 were relegated in their first season of the 17 that went on to a 2nd season only 5 didnt survive (certainly puts to bed the myth of 2nd season syndrome)

 

Our saving grace is the way we play , not what money can buy.Look at our first season up , spent very little and did very well going with " Championsbip players " .Guys like Britton , Rangel , Williams and on a lesser part Monk, played with us in League 1 and after 3 seasons in the Premier were penciled in first in they' re positions . Guys that do there job within everyone elses job , no "I " in team effort .we dont play a lot different now than we did then , and everyone loves the way we play.
