Have not seen anyone pushing in People pop off for a pee or a drink And return Lots of friendly banter
RE: jumping queue. To be fair, it'd be hard for others in the queue to prove that person jumped in. Even then they could just hand their pass to the person they're standing with so it would make no difference stopping somebody jumping in or not. It hasn't happened much but there was one or two this morning at around 9:00am when I was near the front. One person rode up and handed his passes to a woman as she walked in to buy his tickets on his behalf. Like I say, there were sitting together, it doesn't really matter. There was a good buzz there this morning, good vibe.
I wasn't asked for address or anything on Friday. We handed 4 passes in, they asked which one the semi final application was on, put my card details in the computer, it was there saying we'd been at the semi then they just handed 4 tickets over. Job done, took less than a minute I think.
Just out of interest Cortez, when did you start queuing to be near the front by 9am? I'm wanting to guage things for Phase 3 on Thursday morning, although given all season pass holders have a guaranteed ticket it's not really comparable ...
Got there at 7am this morning, walked out of TixOffice at 1pm..Six f**king hours. for 2 tickets ...Only City could put the fans through this. Observations: Ticket office too small.... No turnstiles open for cash only sales...Why..... One bloke handing in all his mates cards = MUG. Shouldn't be on. Fans who didn't go to the Semi getting tickets.....How? Non season ticket holders getting tickets........How? Come on City start doing the explaining...We're listening.....FAT CHANCE.
I was asked to confirm addresses also (was buying for pass holders family / friends). Women who dealt with my purchases was very helpful & pleasant etc as you would expect. Was told by a fellow pass holder (West Stand)during the week that her passes where glanced at very quickly and no questions about confirming addresses either.
Agreed. Cowld, but lively banter, footballs being kicked around, muted euphoria the order of the day. One tiger onesie only seen, no foam hands. Proper fans today, no tv cameras or showboaters. These people are the ones who will make the noise and roar us on to victory.
