    Borini Pen

    2-0

    and Red card for Cardiff.

Foul was outside the box, so questionable if it was a pen. But he was the last man stopping a goalscoring chance.

He had a moyes/hodgeson/1945hitler like effect on the side. He was despised.

Good, Norwich and Villa being in trouble will hopefully work out for us.
Villa have to play city and could need a result.
Norwich could directly take points from the chavs, or give Everton confidence against city knowing that Arsenal have to play Norwich.

I don't think the ref would have given that penalty if there wasn't a lot of talk in the news recently about players not getting free kicks/pens when they stay on their feet.

Ref was bold, but 1, it was outside the box and 2, the contact was very minimal.

Your reading too much into teams in a relegation fight getting points.

Most of them lie down and die. The odd shock happens but in reality you should always consider the better side wins and just do what you have to do.

Saw that yesterday. Norwich just rolled over.

No point in hoping for anything from Norwich games now, they're doomed and looked it.

Difficult though when you are struggling and go somewhere like OT, you then score a goal to take the lead only for it to be harshly ruled out. knocks the stuffing out of you.

Cardiff are really trying hard to see how many cards they can pick up. I see another Cardiff player getting sent off before the end.

So Larsson is running away and just has a cheeky touch of the ball, Fabio comes and pushes him in the back forcefully with 2 hands.

Apparently, both those crimes are worth the same thing, a yellow card? <doh>

When did raising your hands stop becoming a red card offence?

You still have to be a moron to take your shirt off in goal celebration. Needless yellow card.

Sunderland out of the bottom 3, on goal diff

Nice little pass from Borini for the third there. Not sure he's good enough to make it with us as a starter, but a decent squad option and FAR better than what we have on the bench already.

I think Borini has looked good today, just wish he could score from open play!

Still needs to work on his finishing from open play. Think he's only scored 2 goals from open play this year with the rest coming from pens. Obviously has a cool head and I think he'll be a good squad player for us and he'll probably get somewhere between 5-10 goals a season but could just be those important ones like he's done for Sunderland.
