Decent, better than mainstream UK hip-pop. His flow's a bit muddy though and a little unintellible at the speed he tries to go, looked through a few songs and doesn't seem to have much to his lyrics.

Love it, especially when the beat disappears and its just him singing. Great video as well.

While I'm on it, I might as well promote some local (for me) talent:

Second one is about his 14 year old cousin and it's a true story. Deep, deep ****.

It's a bit mainstream hip-hop but the Wiz Khalifa album is brilliant, favourite song is Cameras

His It's Not A Rumour album was brilliant - simplistic wonderful. Some of his freestyle verses this year have been class as well. I'm a fan.

^Not his smoothest flow but it obviously wasn't written to a beat so that's understandable. But the lyrics are outstanding, so passionate and gets in so many quotables

"Don't come out the womb wanna sell drugs, if we had the right guidance and love would we fight people just like us"

"Easy to fight our brothers over crumbs, harder to fight the one who makes guns"

"First enslaved were the working class... what's changed?"

"Poor people are treated as dirt regardless of shade"

"Got more in common with immigrants than with your leaders"

"Go to the pub, Friday night and fight with a guy, don't know what for, won't fight with the guy, shooting a tyke who sends your kids to die in the war"

"Dont send the rich kids of the politicans - it's your kids, the poor British"

Lowkey is far ahead the best UK rap artist at the moment, though. He's unreally good.

Also, been a massive fan of Akala for years now! First his song "war" when I was doing my GCSE's back in 2005 and thought it was just so much better than anything out at that time. Still love it now tbh!

Aye it's my big brother...Currently living in Holland so if its a boy he'll have an innate sense of 'total football' and I'm banging a 10er on him to play for the Toon in an instant!
