By crikey the matches tomorrow are fcking massive, though. Sh1t though our plight is, it really is good to see the league churning out drama. We're all supposed to laud German football, where - for a second season running - Bayern broke records for how easily they won it. In Spain, everyone just seems a bit miffed that Atletic Madrid have spoiled the "Clasico" (that's Spanish for "Scottish Premier League When Rangers Were In It"). No-one could tell you who leads any other leagues.

Liverpool and Atletico Madrid have been like a breath of fresh air this season, Roland. And they've got two youngish managers who do things their way, its been great to watch. It almost makes me think why we can't be as successful as Atletico, for example. I don't think their infrastructure, fan base, etc. can be much bigger than ours. <think we know the answers to that one>

Well, the latter point is interesting. A lot of us point to Ashley, for example, but Simeone has FAR more financial constraints. He's got somewhere on a few loans and an ATTITUDE that works. You can see it in the players, that's why - if I were owner - I'd want to see more, much more, from Parps/NUFC. What makes me laugh is pundits' views of things. They are pundits, for fcks sake, yet have none of the insights as to what's required - why is Pardew doing a "good job"? He's fcking not. It's horsesh1t. You can see it, if you look hard enough - AVB, for example, his screwball high line tactics were laughable, he couldn't/wouldn't change and got sacked from Chelsea, THEN Spurs, for the same crime. I'd like to have an entire discussion about managers, who's good, who isn't, why they are, what they actually do, etc.

Aye, Simeone has his players working magnificently as a team. I've seen them a few times this season and can still only name three players, Courtois the keeper, Artur Turan and Diego Costa. Obviously, they are a skilful bunch but the tactics and togetherness are just as important. Our manager is ****e.

    Morning glowers. <ok>

Apparently due to a "big game" today and there is a shortage of toilet roll in Sunderland caused by mass panic buying by Sunderland fans. Anyone heard any more about this?

"Craig Bellamy should feature for Cardiff after overcoming the virus which kept him out of the Stoke draw."

Just imagine if he were to score an important goal today.

Go on, close your eyes and imagine it. Feel the warmth. Feel the glow.

Hmmm, I was expecting to see fellow glowers out in full force today, on what could possibly be THE most important day in glow factor history.

    It could either be:
    - a pivotal day that sees fortunes change and glowing decrease (in which we need to soak in as much as we can now), or
    - the day that sees all new record levels of glow (in which case, get out here and enjoy it)

Either way, come on glowers. This is a big day. :)

News just in the Tyneside has the same problem as Geordies stock up hoping for the need to use excessive sheets at the final whistle.

<laugh> f**king hell, superbly put mate. Isn't this what the Glow is all about? <applause>

I am imagining it, Obi, I am imagining it.......imagine also if Bellamy scores the winner and then puts on a Steve Bruce mask and celebrates gloatingly infront of the Dismals? Lovely stuff.

I'm still pissed off with Fulham for throwing away a two-goal lead yesterday. If those Fulham bastards go down they get what they deserve <angry Glow>

As for today, I'd take a draw and then next up for the mackems is a visit to Old Trafford. I'm sure the mancs will want to avenge that semi-final defeat <revenge Glow>.

    Oh and come on Cardiff!

I wonder just how squeaky mackem bums are right now? There are three possible results today.....win, lose or draw....realistically, they have to win. Anything other than a win and they remain bottom.

All told, nothing will be settled today <the Glow continues for a while yet>

They are still guaranteed to be in the drop zone no matter what the result today.

If they win they'll go above Norwich, Glowers. Had those useless bastards at Fulham not blown a two-goal yesterday the mackems would still be in the drop zone regardless of their result today.

I hate Fulham <they'd better make up for it by beating Stoke away next week>
