My record shows been saying that for ages. Shame I didn't have a bet on it.

I expect Sunderland to beat Cardiff on the weekend though. Will that make a difference? Not sure. Fulham's run in could save the Cottagers.

I think Norwich will. One of the others will creep ahead and there's no chance they'll pick up more points now. Fulham might have fluffed their chance. Who ever loses tomorrow will join Norwich. I can't help thinking that Sunderland are the stronger team (and have two swans). So my money's on Sunderland to stay up, of the bottom four.

Its 3 out of the bottom 4 now and its anyone's guess which team will be the lucky ones. goal difference could come into play. I shall enjoy the rest of the season watching the bottom three unfold...

Yeah, dai. Seems every time I think about it I come up with a different answer. Well, three answers... None of them Norwich.

The pressure on all them 4 teams must be immense, It was only a short few weeks ago that there was ten teams involved and now there is probably only 4 left involved and only one lucky winner....poor sods...

Still sticking with Mackems, Cardiff and Norwich but Fulham seem to be shooting themselves in the foot - conceded an equaliser at the death today after going two up. Sunderland to put a late run together? Can't rule it out.

Don't agree. Who goes down could have a bearing on us next season.

OK I'll spell it out. It could well be argued that Sunderland (say) are a huge club and are likely to spend some dosh to rebuild this summer. That could affect us next season because we'll be playing them. If they're down then we won't. That affects us because there are 6 points to play for against them and that could be crucial. Ideally we should want a smaller, weaker team to stay up.

So of course we should have an interest in who goes down without losing sleep over it. Whether you do is another matter.

Sunderland a big club ? The last time they were classed as a big club was way back in 1973 when bob stokoe was the boss. They have been crap for years and certainly not feared by anyone. I dont care who goes down but i hope norwich manage a win somewhere..

I would like to see Norwich stay up, but it looks very unlikely, as events are conspiring against them!......<ok>

Yes I think Sunderland are a big club. Depends what your criteria is. If you use history and fan base as most do then yes they qualify. It was just an example. If you disagree then fair enough.

I think we should all have an interest in who's leaving the Division as well as who is coming in, particularly since I think points will be at a premium next season. :(

I am sure Cardiff spent more than Sunderland close season. I do see your point but the way money is in the PL everyone of the clubs will be spending pretty big (in our terms) and that includes the sides coming up.
