You know what, I've got a feeling we ain't selling that well. After mad scrambling around thinking I had next to no chance of a ticket I've been offered ****loads this week. The amount of proper PROPER FANS (including our kid who got runner up in fan of the season once, he went away to a Jocko pre season friendly. Clydebank perhaps?) who have said they're not going is mental. Is money really that tight or does apathy rule in Hull?
At least I'll be satisfied they'll get a free supper in the nick , released just in time to pick their tickets up . I'll get ourkid to drop them off at the KC. Sorted.
I've got a few mates who are fretting over not getting tickets. I'd be gobsmacked if they're easy to get hold of this time next week.
That's how I felt but after speaking to quite a few I honestly was surprised. I never in a million years thought i'd have mine locked in by now and was resigned to spunking £450 on club Wembley. I reckon they'll make general sale.
Im still in 2 minds wether to drive to hull from manchester to que at the start of phase 3 or wait until the day after and ring.
Any news? Did they survive? Have any locals been down & checked on them? I've been up most of the night worrying. Where's the Sally Army when you need them?
Got to KC at 7.00 joined queue at main entrance. Hundreds of others joined queue since. It's going to be a long day.
Holy ****. Muffin, hope you went well prepared. It's about 3 hours from the sports bar near the walkover bridge thingamajig, and that's only just around the corner from the ticket office. If anyone was planning on going down I'd just wait til this afternoon, no point wasting your day now...
I guess the east stand queue will move quicker than the south stand did. When I got in there, there were people already in there whinging that they didn't want to stand up and can they make sure people don't stand up in the block they choose, blablabla. I was in and out in about a minute, they were all still whinging when I left. Overheard plenty in the queue going on about standing and stuff as well. The east won't have many of these whinging precious types. Less flaskers and foam handers determined to sit down and quietly enjoy the show.
Is this genuine? I ask cos it's you, Hat... If so I f**king despair. Some of ours fans are right moaning ****s. I think it's a Hull thing to moan and whinge actually.
I'm going to today but was on the beer yesterday so I'm having a nice relaxing cuppa before I go anywhere. About an hour, and I'll have a slow walk down there.
