Wow! What a game!! It was my sons 8th birthday today and I have to admit I was concerned we might not come away with anything today. I clearly need not have worried as we controlled the game with so many great performances from so many players. I also found the game hilarious at times and have now lost my voice because if I wasn't singing we've got your back four or we don't need to score, I was shouting 'shoot' at their CB's. The atmosphere was incredible and the place was buzzing throughout. The cheers, applause and standing ovation that the players being subbed got was also special. There was an added bonus as we waited around after the game and my son got autographs, pictures or both with Lambert, Shaw, Big Vic, Cork, Ward-Prowse, Gallagher, Chambers, Hooiveld, Guly, Reed and Gazzaniga. I have to say I was so impressed by them all as they all took time to stop and sign/pose for a picture. I also felt proud to support a team that have players like this that reflect the club so well as good ambassadors. The one who stood out the most? Well it has to be Rickie as he stayed and signed for EVERY fan until he got to the end of the line. What an absolute legend! Well done Saints, you made an 8 year old (and his Dad's) Day!
