Just wondering if the hard ons that Spanish & Hampy have had all afternoon have started to subside yet.? Yes you were both correct, we did not make the play offs and the pessimistic views you have had have been proved correct, albeit with only 1 game to go in the season. As for moving the goal posts now, if either of you cant see why our promotion push has failed then ask me & I will list them for you BUT I hope you are both realistic enough to you see them for yourselves.!
The way I see it the aims were/are..... Last season ....survive....done This season....consolidate in this league......done and then some Next season....play offs(minimum)
Whatever hoppers, i have not gloated once actually so i will kindly tell you to go forth and multiply!! I can also tell you what is wrong and yes MM's negative tactics and team selection would be in the list amongst other things and if you cant see that then......... I wouldnt mind putting up with your drivvel but when you accuse me of something i have not sais then you piss me off, especially when it is quite obvious how gutted and angry i am!! This summer we need to add guile to our attacking player, we build so far and the finally third is lacking, get that sorted and we will be there and there abouts. Some fans have short memories on what a joke side we were before mick came in.
Have to say i am quite shocked that you are all happy with the dross i have witnessed over the last few games, standards have certainly dropped at PR!!!
Its nor that standards have dropped spanish, its the fact we were a ****ing joke with the last 3 clowns, yet when we do get a bloke who has turned us around to be competitive in less than 18 months and a budget smaller than a norwich trophy cabinet, you have to agree he deserves credit. Nobody is saying it can't be improved, but we are heading in the right direction.
Spanish I just despair of you I really do! We were never going to be good enough with a small squad of limited players! We can't afford to bring in decent players like Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest, and yes little Burnley have all done because we are in debt up to our fecking eyeballs! Mick has worked wonders just making us competitive this season so don't start crying about standards dropping! Yes the players have been found wanting but with two games to go most rational Town fans will gave been pleased that we were in with a shout of the playoffs. Just cast your mind back 18 months ago,when the club was in one hell of a mess and to be in this position seemed like a million miles away! We are in transition and it takes time to build a team something we haven't had since Magilton was manager. Just cut the guy some slack and let him get the job done. Ts now up to the invisible one to back Mick in the summer and if he doesn't I will be the first to demonstrate towards getting Evans out!
Nahh, cant be ****ed to argue with ya, your happy with ****, i am not. Its all about standards i guess!! I just hope MM ****s off sooner rather than later!!
