Ticket update - I got mine from a mate's dad who works at for ER FA. £65 tickets for the City end but dunno what that means in terms of block. Woohoo - beats £450 for a corporate anyway....

Got mine. People were whining that they don't want to stand up but don't want to go in the family area. The queue is quite short really probably an hour and a half from end to end at most. From what I could see in the boxes there were plenty of tickets left in each block.
This thread has shown all that's gone wrong with supporting Hull City since we moved to the KC, if we were still at BP it would be easy to sort out the sitting and standing sections, the best stand and sledmere seats together Kempton and South standers in their own bit easy. When we moved most of the Best stand lot moved into the East, same view but cheaper, however it's killed the old Kempton atmosphere, and I know it was poor sometimes but losing at home to the likes of Macclesfield and Torquay does not make for a noisy crowd, but when it was good, it was great. The KC has now become one of those stadiums that we used to take the piss out of because their fans were so quiet when we played them in the cup games. And now all us lot on here are struggling to get seats together to try and make some noise because we know that 75% of our fans never sing.
It's always been the case that 3/4 of the crowd have never sang. It was always a few hundred in Kempton and a couple of hundred in the South stand
Went at 5,15 pm tonight and got served straight away. And got the tickets I wanted which was a bit surprised at. Strangely quiet
I did mean that, however our crowd average has trebled since we moved but still a similar number sing, when you look on TV at some grounds in the prem usually one stand has all the fans stood all the game, how has that happened, has it took years of fans gradually standing and the sitters moving elsewhere? Even some of our away games are embarrassing in fact I won't ever go to Liverpool again a bloke near to me was shouting at Gerrard to look his way for a photo, I despair of some of our new fans, this season has been our best ever but we have acquired thousands of Premiership fans rather than Hull City supporters. I mean really, would you go on Tiger Travel?
I went at 8.00pm tonight and the ticket office was closed. I'm not going to Wembley anyhow but I just wanted to tell them that I object to people who object to people objecting. Also its about time they fitted seat belts to the erm, seats to stop the bastards leaving early.
Yeh you're totally correct. Football seriously needs the safe standing areas sooner rather than later. The amount of moaning Bastards at Wembley was ridiculous. Tiger travel no way it takes an hour to get them out of the car park
I was in the 501 section in row 2 and we were having, shall we say banter, with the Sheffield lot, the stewards were getting really twitchy because I wouldn't have thought too much of that goes on at Wembley, Millwall being the exception of course, but most people were sat but stood up to sing which is ok. The dynamics of our crowd has really changed since 2008 the semi at home to Watford was easily the best atmosphere ever at the KC and apart from the first Prem game against Fulham it's been well, not that good has it
No not really. Cardiff last game last season and Liverpool this season maybe. East stand 1-3 also 9-11 plus South stand 1-3 need to be designated singing areas because there are fans who want to sing but to many miserable twats make them feel to fearful to do it
I got back from my hols this afternoon and nipped straight down to the ground to pick up my tickets. There was a pair of old fogeys sat outside the ticket office, set for the night. Blankets, flasks, the whole caboodle. I pointed it out to the ticket office staff, I once did a sponsored walk for Help The Aged( in fact it might have been a sponsored spell) so have a vested interested in the welfare of the elderly. They weren't in the slightest bit arsed, they said they'd told them to come back Sunday afternoon and they'd get their tickets( they were season ticket holders) no problemo, no queue no f**k all. The mad old crows wouldn't budge and inch. Mental.
It was a husband and wife, well I assume it was. Go and have a look if you live nearby, they'll still be there. If you do can you take them a fresh flask and maybe a hot water bottle, it would make me feel better.
I live near Manchester, so can't really help tonight. I might ring ourkid and see if he can help . Did you see if they had a torch ? That would come in handy.
The ticket office should have just sold them their tickets at the close of the office today and let them on their way home. Everybody hush hush.
I really would love to tell you that at least one, preferably both, was donning a miners style head torch but nope. No torch in sight. I appreciate the area near the ticket office is well illuminated by overhead street lighting( possibly of the high pressure sodium variety) but what happens if there's a power failure? It's basics. I bet they haven't got a needle and cotton or a boot cleaning kit either. f**king amateurish at best.
Bugger , I'm concerned now . Ourkids an Inpector in Hull , I'll get him to send a car round to check the welfare of the amateur campers. Coppers have great torches , I'm sure they'll have a spare. Help the aged .
