I think it's more that he's lost a yard of pace, and it was his pace and power that was his main weapon. I'm not sure it's a case of defenders working him out. Some players you know exactly what they're gonna do, but it still doesn't mean you can stop them doing it. Valencia of a few years ago would power past defenders and cross, and there was nothing most fullbacks could do about it, even though they knew it was coming, but nowadays he doesn't have the gears to do it
He used the onetwo to great effect back in the day but now he doesnt and just shifts it right and smashes a cross against the first defender.
Hahaha Cleverly, don't our midfielders ever practise shooting.....if we had a halfdecent scoring midfielder in our team, he would be a guaranteed starter.

I'm not going to blame Giggs. But what this shows is some degree of empathy for Moyes. THIS is a team wanting to play for Giggs and look how poor they've been. Imagine how it must have been for Moyes. And the style of play is virtually identical to his which also shows the limitations of some of our players. Mata and Nani/Januzaj on please!!
