    He was indeed.

He has been found out by every player in existence now though and doesnt possess the brain to change it.

Some of the liverpool fans, even in a great season for them, cannot help but talk about united.

Apparently, if we win this game we are all going to giving it what for.

I think it's more that he's lost a yard of pace, and it was his pace and power that was his main weapon. I'm not sure it's a case of defenders working him out.

Some players you know exactly what they're gonna do, but it still doesn't mean you can stop them doing it. Valencia of a few years ago would power past defenders and cross, and there was nothing most fullbacks could do about it, even though they knew it was coming, but nowadays he doesn't have the gears to do it

He used the onetwo to great effect back in the day but now he doesnt and just shifts it right and smashes a cross against the first defender.

Hahaha Cleverly, don't our midfielders ever practise shooting.....if we had a halfdecent scoring midfielder in our team, he would be a guaranteed starter.

It's so disappointing we lay the blame for poor play on some of our best players simply bcos they hold the limelight and become the scapegoats. This game is crying out for Nani and Mata.

    Its slow and static.

Just because its Giggs and his first ever game as a manager doesnt excuse it for being ****e.

No wonder matt made the Sunderland game thread.

So....near enough all our play into the box is from crosses, and we're still not scoring from open play, relying on set pieces (of sorts) to do so. Moyes-esque <laugh>

That was about the only way we were gonna open the scoring, a complete cock up from the Norwich defence <laugh>

Well probably get a few more now Norwich have no choice but to come out and attack, it still won't excuse how bad it was before we got fortunate with the goal:biggrin:

I'm not going to blame Giggs. But what this shows is some degree of empathy for Moyes. THIS is a team wanting to play for Giggs and look how poor they've been. Imagine how it must have been for Moyes. And the style of play is virtually identical to his which also shows the limitations of some of our players.

    Mata and Nani/Januzaj on please!!

Scrap Januzaj, he's not even on the bench <laugh>

Norwich would have been better off just letting Welbeck shoot, he must have mistaken him for Van Persie <laugh>
