Couldn't give a stuff about Millwall I was looking for a convincing performance and tbh we have been outplayed by Millwall, a team struggling to stay in this division
Harolds wonderful tactical nous....give them all the space they need to get at the back 4.....was Henry amongst the subs....if so he should have come on to give extra cover......
That's what I was thinking, if ever there was a need for henry, its defending a 1 goal lead with 5 to go. Instead he brings on Doyle to partner Zamora.,
Plus losing to Donny, Charlton, drawing with Blackpool, thats 12 points thrown away against teams at the bottom......
what's happened at Notts County? 103 mins and still going, 2 reds and 4 yellows in added time, Notts County score at 98 mins
Wigan are away to Birmingham mid week, its a huge game at both ends, Wigan lost at home to Blackpool so need to win that at reading are at home on the final day.
Looking at the table its 2 from Wigan Reading & Brighton for the final play off spots. Blackburn would need a Rhodes inspired goalfest to creep in
At the risk of being lambasted by the happy clappy's on here as Flyer described them.....is it really that unreasonable to question why a squad as expensive as ours has produced an entire season of terrible football. No discernible playing style or plan and even allowing for injuries and suspensions (which does also call into question our training & conditioning quality compared to Leicester who had 96% of their first team squad available all season) no consistency in selection. Sadly it does strike me that arry hasn't got a clue. It's a disgrace that a squad such as ours will finish more than 20 points off the top & that is down to the management of the team. Yes the players have a responsibility but they can't possibly know what's going on either with the constant changing of line ups & random formations appearing out of nowhere and then being discarded. The protection of certain players despite their lack of form is also bewildering. A season in which we could have blooded some promising youngsters and started to build for the future has been a complete waste. If we go up via the play offs another season of turmoil awaits and more overpaid, overpriced has beens will turn up, not care and then f*** off when we are adrift at the bottom at Christmas. I've supported the hoops from near and far for over 40 years and the shambles of the last 3/4 years has been painful to witness. I don't see why a realistic view, which is clearly of a negative bent, should be so lambasted as flyer and others are. I want us to win every week, I want us to play good football but most of all I want to see evidence of a plan and progress on the playing side. HR is the managerial equivalent of our overpaid loan "stars". However an opinion is just that & I will express positive views when there's something to be positive about but I don't see much of that on the horizon. So please let us express our honest opinions & be prepared to engage in rationale debate. It doesn't make us any less of a fan because for 90mins each game we are positive & behind the team. If others on here think there are not serious issues at our club from top to bottom that left untouched could see us revisit the dark ages of admin again then feel free to keep your heads buried in the sand. I shall now return to a cold glass of Prosecco on the beach in Barbados
