Howard Webb losing his grip

Martin Atkinson is going to be the referee for this weekend game between Liverpool and Chelsea.
FA are not giving Webb high profile games anymore because of frequent blunders. Time for FA for a rethink?.

The phrase "Out of the frying pan...." springs to mind!

Mark Clattenburg is the best Referee in the country this season and he would have been the best choice for this high profile game.

 

Webb couldn't officiate this game because he took control of our December meeting. Apparently, the FA don't allow the same referee to screw a team twice against the same team #standards

I'd rather the match was refereed by David Badiel than Webb after his atrocity of a performance at Stamthug Bridge in December.

i am not sure what it is with him any more, i used to think he may be bias, now i just think he is ****e, esp after that kung fu kick on alonso in the cup final that wasn't even punished.

he doesn't like controversy so takes the easy option of not making the decision.

 

I'm sure Webb isn't to worried having refereed the CL semi final between Bayern and Real, with Martin Atkinson incidentally one of the officials on the goal line
