To be fair- that's under £12mill a player on average. A lot for people towards the bum-end of the table- but not for people near the top. I'm too lazy to look up what our first team costs... but I imagine it's probably not too much less than Chelsea's 2nd team.

Skrtel £7mill Sakho £13mill Johnson: £17mill Mignolet £8m?? £106 mill (+Flan)... not sure if Flan was free or not. We work out a little under £2mill per player less than their 2nd team. Not a huge difference... and no Henderson to offset the difference... lol.
Who cares how much Chelsea paid for these players (if they are the ones that do play). Our job is to blow them off the park and then do a better job than we did last week and make sure they don't crawl back on again. As we sing "WE ARE LIVERPOOL...... WE'RE THE BEST FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD - YES WE ARE!"
I agree... I think we'd be favourites against any Chelsea XI at the moment... on the flip side- any Chelsea XI is still a danger not to be taken lightly.

Yeah, on Sunday we need to kill this thing dead in the first half, preferably the first half an hour, score four and no lapse as has happened in the last two games. Everyone needs to be clinical.
