No surprise, Mitroglou isn’t yet ready. Otherwise in a fairly brief lunchtime press conference Felix said that Richardson, Reither and Diarra are all back. And elsewhere Parker had already declared himself fit. I’d love to see us set up to get an early goal (something we’ve not managed all season) and then have the confidence to push on and finish the game off. In reality though I suspect we’d revert to going deep and try to defend the lead, which apart from doing the old heart no good at all, could prove disastrous. Instead, and I feel sure this is how Felix will see it, we will probably have a starting line-up that will (hopefully) be solid and keep it tight. Whatever, we know the threat of the running of Long up front and the likelihood of Huddlestone and Livermore being his providers, so we‘ll need to be extra strong in the middle and cut off the supply. So, the team to start I’d go for is: ………………Stockdale…………… ……..Heitinga…Hangeland…..Amorebieta… .Reither………………………………Richardson… ………………….Diarra………. ……Parker…………………..Sidwell……. ……………………..Holtby……… ………………..Hugo…………………..
I too would love 2 or 3 early goals C58. Never going to happen though. The line up is what I would use except replace Parker with Kvist. Hull are a good side but theres only 2 wins between us, which in the grand scheme of things isnt much. I want Holtby to run the game tomorrow and go someway to reversing the result we had in Hull, which was one of several gutless performances this season. COYW
Same as what Cottager58 is suggesting. To me that's a well balanced team with speed on the flanks and enough safety, with Diarra in front of the back three, to keep us from conceding.
Dejagah has proved a good second half substitution. I like C58's team. It's a strong team. Let's hope there isn't any injuries that we don't know about this time.
A low key interview from Felix this week, despite Sarah Brookes' limp attempts: PS any guesses what the match that is with the crowd scene in the picture behind him? Looks awful like Chelsea v Moscow Dynamo in 1945 but it can't be that, surely. Could it be our highest attendance (nearly 50,000) v Millwall in 1938?
Cottager It could be the Fulham v Millwall game, as old photos I have seen of the Chelsea Moscow Dynamo match there were quite a few servicemen in the crowd, that photo does not show any
Hull fan. I'm worried about today's game. I can see you guys turning us over. We've been quite good at times this season but still struggle to score. If you do score first it's your win as we're terrible at breaking teams down that sit back. UTT
I had the misfortune to travel to the Hull away game. I really hope your right Proevotiger. Scarf on now and ready for the off

Get in... Dejagah. I'm a bloody emotional mess at the moment. Bloody hell. .. that's amore... STAND UP IF YOU STILL BELIEVE.....
I agree mate let's hope now then that man u beat Norwich and Cardiff and Sunderland is a draw.. big ask tho
Demoralising but it's still not over, it's a lot tougher now but it's still do-able. We would have taken 2 wins and a draw from our last 3, we got the draw.
I like the optimism! It's over I think! What is more disturbing is that we conceded a goal in a similar fashion to spurs last week!
