Gained 28 points from 16 games against bottom half teams. Quite surprised we've only got 8 from 18 games against top half teams.
It's the way to do it, if that stat was reversed we'd find ourselves in a very damning position indeed.
One of the reasons we nearly got relegated in 2008/2009 is because we couldn't beat the smaller teams.
Lets hope it continues as we have two lower league teams to play before the season is over and I fear we will be lucky to get a point against Man U or Everton.
Wins against Liverpool and Newcastle and draws against Spurs and Stoke (with remaining games against Man Utd and Everton). Not the best is it? 2-2-14 but 8-4-4 against the bottom half will pretty much keep you up.
Exactly! Our season was never going to be defined by results against the likes of Liverpool, Utd etc. Our season is all about how we do against those around us!
