I stopped being cool years ago; doesn't mean I'll grow up though.

I'm always full of enthusiasm. Except when I'm not. You should know this by now. :)

What's going on at Rangers? Just been on Sky that anyone buying a season ticket can't use a debit or credit card, but must have a bank transfer or cash??? Remember that an ex-director suggested that fans should pay into a special account rather than pay money to Rangers. The board have also said that if there is a fall in season ticket sales, the club will be in real trouble. Talk that they've wasted £70 million. Wow, I'd really want to part with my money, wouldn't you?

I saw that earlier too. Shocking state of affairs. What about their that said they purchased players in the summer when they didn't really have the funds too. I'm thinking the SFA need to get a hold if them and get that sorted. Crazy situation. I mean how can a team in blue get so far in financial trouble, come out and carry on regardless til the same thing happens?

They tried something similar at Portsmouth back in the day, I believe Chainrai was owner at the time and you could only buy season tickets via cash.... I wonder why that may have been!

Portsmouth was always run on a shoe string, but Rangers is a big club with big crowds...some one has a lot to answer for.

I can think of only one sure fire way of saving Rangers, apart from some idiot coming along and donating tons of cash. They need to join the English leagues.

Neither am I keen, but they're goners otherwise. Can you think of a way to save them..? Even the Scottish Prem is no money spinner.

I'm up for that. Celtic too. Huge clubs (even with the mess Rangers are in) that are wasted where they are. The more the merrier.

Even if they joined the English Leagues they would have to start at a low level which won't be a money spinner either.

Is anyone having problems with saintsplayer? The pre-match interview doesn't seem to be up yet, which I thought would be by now.

    Thanks

It's just not practical. It would be a ridiculous distance for Saints fans to travel for a 90 minute game. And Scotland is generally under several feet of snow in the winter which will cause chaos. And if Scotland vote for independence in the referendum then it definitely won't happen.

Perhaps, but it's not a much longer drive than Swansea to Newcastle. Not even mentioning Plymouth.

True but why add to these long journeys? Away fans at these clubs do enough miles as it is.

It's not on there yet. The Les Reed interview is up (you don't need Player), but MP is only in text form.

Can see the advantage to Celtic and Rangers, but no advantage to EPL clubs.

Because there are more important things than journey times. The huge revenue a team like Celtic would bring in, for example.
