Celebrating winning the 1981 Scottish Cup. Hard to believe 3 of those guys are no longer with us.

Sandy with Derek Parlane the goalscorers against the mighty Bayern Munich at Ibrox that took Rangers to the CWCF in Barcelona.

Sandy training with Scotland. I can see Tommy Doc, Bremner and Willie Young but don't recognise the other guys.

Could be wrong but I think this is Sandy celebrating his wonder goal against Celtic after running all the way from his own 18 yard box and slamming it into the Celtic net in the Dryburgh Cup Final. Davie Cooper scored the greatest goal in Old Firm history the same day as Rangers lifted the cup. Wee Murdo disny look too happy.

And in our recent troubles Sandy was there leading from the front.

    Gone but not forgotten.

A truly great player and a wonderful man.

A true Rangers legend in every sense of the word.

    His memory will live on.

Thoughts with his family at this very sad time.

This tribute was posted after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Sadly, this was one fight Sandy couldn't win.

Rocket watching the game from his car. <laugh>

The Hun **** might've been a decent player on his day, but must've been **** at management as Fergie recommended him for managers role after he (Alex Ferguson) left Aberdeen to take over at Man United.<doh>

Once again looking back on old pictures makes me all nostalgic. But why cant we both produce players of jardines quality anymore? And when I say quality I mean as a player and a person? We both used to regularly have lads like him come through as tough players but absolute gentlemen to boot

Back in Jardine's day, we had over 2m kids growing up playing football, nowadays, there's a couple of hundred thousand tops.
