Lucky the ball deflected into his path.

2nd goal from Benfica was a hell of a strike.

I watched Pirlo intently... He had a great game. Beelining at a comfortable pace, he ventures forward a whole lot more than Gerrard and rarely stands between the CBs. I guess Juve's CBs have weaned off their daddy's teat some time ago.

Yeah but watching pirlo on his own is one thing but where tactically are thier full backs positions and how is thier midfield constructed, Rodgers plays two box to box do they play double pivot with destructive dm allowing pirlo to wander

Basically Gerrard standing between split cbs works for lfc

You are dead right here, scholar refused to work day one and swanned right back in and rumours on giggs were rife

How and ever.... The entire world bar ferguson knew what would happen in the end so... If they'd tried a leg all that'd have happened is they would be stuck with him a little longer

Van gaal's first job is to sack the lot of them

Spot on, proper nest of viper's.

Wasn't impressed with Fergie's piss poor crocodile tears about the sacking either, Van Gaal to tell him to stay the **** upstairs on day one.

Exactly the same as Stevie Me la and Woy.....

And if Brendan hadn't ditched his tiki taka and the 180 page accompanying dossier after Stevie Me objected to the fact it wasn't working, then he'd have gone the same way
