I do have my concerns about Mata, the guy is a class act, but I think we need to play a certain way to get the best out of him, which might not play to the strength of others. I hope I'm wrong though, as we forked out 37 million for him.

I would be shocked if Giggs left him on the bench tomorrow if I'm honest though:biggrin:

He's a winger surely? Or even one of these many 'Number 10's' that everyone paps on about, we've apparently got seven or eight of those in our squad if some are to believed. If he's a genuine winger then I guess so.

Where's Shwan anyway? Shwan used to love Lucas Moura a lot.

On Cavani, depends if anyone is going to leave. He can't get a game at centre forward at PSG because it's all about Zlatan.

Loucas Moura is definitely a winger, he's like Arron Lennon or Theo Walcott. He struggles to even get in the PSG side, as they play Cavani on the right a lot to fit him in the side

Sorry mate, as you can tell French football isn't my strong point.

Btw I thought Cavani played more as that second striker/number 10 role? Hence why I thought he wasn't needed. Mind you, even as a centre forward I'm not sure we need him this summer. We have Hernandez and I really think he needs to be given more games and see how he figures a year from now when we look at life after RVP.

When I heard Klopp had allegedly ruled himself out of the United job, I thought - "My Arse!" Every manager in Europe would be interested in managing Manchester United and anyone who "rules themselves out" is in denial. Hope you get the man you want this time + good luck for the rest of the season (until you play us in a couple of weeks) :D

That is a concern about having to play a certain way, but he's head and shoulders above anyone we have playing that AM role. If we have to play to his strengths then I honestly believe we should build a team around him. I don't believe he slows us down. It's been more a case of him having to go deep to start attacks which is what slows things down. Imagine a proper CM behind him and then he plays in the hole.

You can win that game as far as I'm concerned, you need the points more than us. I've got this horrible feeling that were gonna win our last 4 games impressively, against (with all due respect to you guys) weaker teams in the PL, and the board are gonna give Giggs the job for next season. I am really dreading this happening as we need a manager with bags of experience managing at the highest level, that's why I won't be to fussed if these last 4 games don't go so well

It's a shame neither will get offered the position due to their lack of experience, but both Pochettino & Martinez would be good fits at Man U as far as style went, and they both seem to have the attack with flair and play to win style that goes well with United.

I genuinely believe that Martinez has such strong morals that he wouldn't do the dirty on Everton after 1 season. He turned down Liverpool when at Wigan after all. Pochettino won't be considered for any big job in England until he starts speaking English in his press conferences, though I agree he's a talented young manager

I doubt giggs will get the job whatever happens in the last matches.

I said in January that it will get much worse. When fergie's team hit a bad patch every one rallied and there was a doubling of team effort. When moyes's team got behind there didn't seem to be that rallying cry and the urgency. Now we know the reason.

BTW whoever we have as manager, I am afraid we haven't hit bottom yet. And next season we will be lucky to get top 4. United is like a huge supertanker . Once it goes off course it takes a long time and a huge effort to get it on again.

I think you will be reinvigorated now and everyone will see a different Manchester United to what we have seen this season. I also think you will win all of your remaining games, but I don't think the Man U board would even then consider Giggs for the manager's position. I am sure he will remain as an integral part of the backroom team, but I am equally sure you will appoint a "big name."
