I think this guy is a top keeper and could be worth a cheeky £12-£15 million bid.

27 years old. an upgrade (imo) from mignolet and might be tempted by champions league.

    worth a shout?

Although I'm sure he would leap at the opportunity to play for a club of our size, I'm not sure goalkeeper is really the position we need to focus most on.

There are other more pressing areas needing improvement. I'd rather get a few really high quality players than spread the money out.

You can double that. He's bound to go to psg and for the record.... Top 3 keepers in prem are him, cech still and de gea. Top player

Krul if anyone is the guy who's out there for snapping up. I'd put him and Howard in to round out top 5

he'll be leaving imo...probably to france but it'll cost a **** load more than £12m

we've been shocking but he has given his all in every game so i don't blame him for wanting out...deserves better...just hope he goes abroad.

however as you are looking can I suggest gomes? he is brazilian you know! and then there's rose and naughton...great young english talent... I reckon £35m for the lot will be fair <laugh>

  5. Krul is the worst keeper in the ball at his feet. He's also the slowest, takes him ages to take a goal kick!

Just cos he's not top 5 doesn't mean he's awful to me. I didn't put szczesny in top 5 either, he good but not at coming out like loris or at dominating the area

But that's newbie under pardew...yes some lads like say Ruddy who insisted at 3-1 and 3-1 to walk across his pen area to take goal kicks and wasted 5 mins on his own.... Some keeper are that way inclined but I find that pardew is a big part in the thing

Was certainly up there too but I think a lot are of a similar level as I could say vorn for instance but really loris and cech and de gea are top players and the rest are not half bad but not that level

We've been spoilt a bit with Reina being so good with his distribution, coming quickly off his line to sweep up, and being vocal and authoritative in marshalling his defence.
Mignolet is not as good in these areas- but he can improve, imo.
Lloris would cost too much and I agree that we need to spend our funds on more pressing areas first.

Lorry is definitely better than Minnie, I just don't think that's where we need to be spending money. Minnie is good enough for now.

Begovic is better than De Gea and on a par with Cech! The reason he doesn't get noticed is because he is playing for an unfashionable club. Real Madrid I believe were interested in taking him and he will be on the move this Summer!

I think you guys need a better goal keeper in truth , and Hugo Lloris is a quality player. Begovic may be a better value option though. Tottenham won't let Lloris go for cheap, I reckon you could get Begovic at half the price, and I wouldn't say there's a lot of difference between the 2.

Despite your very good season, Mignolet has struggled a lot, and it's only because your attacks bailed him out so much that his errors haven't been as costly. Next season with the CL to come your gonna need someone more reliable
