Moyes looks to be the favourite for the Spurs job now.

He's third favourite after Pochettino and Allegri.

What do Eddie Howe, Phil Neville and Roberto di Matteo have in common?

They are, apparently, the 20/1 joint favourites to be next Hull City manager.

They've all exceeded expectations (Bournemouth getting to the top half of the Championship, getting a cap for England and winning the champions league)?

The worst part of him leaving would be a few people blaming Allam or saying he hates Allam? Oh yeah that would be the disastrous part of Bruce leaving - everything else would be dandy if Bruce left.

**** me - there are worse things will happen if Bruce leaves. If a few people blame Allam I think you'll get over it..

Moyes isn't going to Spurs or Newcastle....

He's already got himself a new job.

Long time lurker first time poster!

Without the head butting incident, I'd have thought that in the event that Bruce was appointed at Newcastle then Pardew would have been a fairly good replacement for him.

Any road it's all idle speculation that he'd even want to leave us. If we qualify for Europe and stay in the Premiership we've got to be one the best teams to manage in the top flight - even with a batshitcrazy Egyptian in charge!

Take a look at the Newcastle page - they have a "Next Newcastle manager" thread. Preferences include; Jackie Macnamara, Michael Laudrup, Leonardo, Luis Enrique, Uwe Rosler, David Moyes, Sammi Hyppia, Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, Remi Garde, Pochettino, Tony Pulis and Glenn Hoddle (that's just page 1!) Bruce gets a mention on page 3 but it seems he's hardly an overwhelming favourite with their fans should Pardew be axed.

In that case he must be pretty high on Ashleys list.

But if the contract changes then what is the situation before the one year rolling contract kicks in? Say it's May 2015 then isn't the contract only for a month or two more?

Why do people assume that because a contract is long term there are no clauses about compensation?

5th wealthiest? Where do you get your information from?

    Leonard Blavatnik
    Lakshmi Mittal
    Srichand Hinduja
    John Fredriksen
    Gerald Grosvenor
    Hans Rausing
    Roman Abramovich
    Bruno Schroder
    Charles Cadogan
    Richard Branson

The above are 10 people who are a lot wealthier than Ashley and they all live in the UK.

Is it logical to sack a manager because of the form table? Clubs should be looking longer term than that. Insiders, such as owners, should have much more useful information in which to judge a manager.
