Why would they want rid of Pardew? They've had a great season despite signing hardly anyone in the summer. Tailed off a bit lately but still up at the top end of mid-table.

Mike Ashley is mates with Pardew, hence why he came in in the first place and the ridiculous contract he got. The fans want a change, but since when did Ashley do what the fans wanted?
Man Utd didn't suck so badly this season because of Moyes. Ok, I accept the manager has a part to play, even an important part but the reality is, the player deserve more of the blame than he's got. The only reason that team won the league last season was more down to the other teams at the top self imploding. This season, other than the Arse, they've been much better for much longer. If he'd been able to go in and remove a lot of the dead wood, without any pressure or prodding from above him, they'd be a lot better off. That's a club with a typical English style old guard that pretty much rule the roost, he was never going to achieve anything within that set up or those players. Unfortunately, as much of a major bonus if we ended up with him would be, he'd need a huge pot of cash to replace a few players that we just can't afford. Anyone writing off Moyes as a bad manager is frankly deluded, he just wasn't right for Man U at this moment in time.
Man utd could easily end up with Martinez yet if 1st 2nd choices say no etc..Moyes back @ EFC?...cant see it but would EFC want Bruce?.Dont think Bruce would actually goto to Norwich whilst were in the prem but he would defo goto Newcastle or EFC.
No one is bigger than the club itself, including a certain Mr Allam, so if Brucey decides the grass is greener elsewhere so be it. What I would fear more is what players would be attracted to follow Brucey! If we remain in The Prem League and qualify for Europe I would not see him leaving, equally I don't see him being keen on extending a contract which runs out Summer 2015.
The worst part of him leaving will be the inevitable "He hates Allam" or "It was all Allams fault" bullshit we'll hear.
My understanding rightly or wrongly is that the initial 3 year contract ends, to then be replaced by a new one year rolling contract. Either way any prospective new employer won't be looking at mega compensation. If he wants to go I don't see any point in the club preventing any such move irrespective of the contract position.
Hasn't Pardew got more years on his massive contract? Since Ashley's a right stingy beggar, i can't see him sacking Pardew & giving him the massive pay out that comes with it. And the Bruce to United bollocks is just comical.
