Right, I'm not in a family area then, that's good. Is there anything else being done to separate sitters and standers or is it just those few family blocks?

If that's the only arrangement then I can see the exact same issues happening again re sitting fans and standing fans falling out.

I don't think there is anything else being done no.

The old guy in the queue next to me in the ticket office yesterday asked for a high seat in 112 as at the semi final he SAT low down in 112 and couldn't see the other end of the pitch for people standing up in front of him as he couldn't stand for 90 mins.
Needless to say he got his high up tickets, which included a ticket on one of those hideous season passes with roary on the front - so he isn't in the family area either with his junior.

He;s gonna be in the same boat this time round with regards to standing/sitting if you ask me. Some people never learn do they.

That explains why West Standers are in 113 and 114.

Having been to the ticket office myself today, I'll add:
+ Some blocks are split between two or more stands (East, West and South).
+ No extra blocks have been opened for West Standers, only those they had allocated to them (as see above).
+ 113 and 114 will also be available to either South or East standers (see the seats behind the red band available).
+ If you are unable to go to the ticket office on your day(s), then you may email the ticket office explaining why you cannot go and they will reserve tickets in one of your blocks for you.

And thanks Mr Hat. I love you too.

That's exactly why we're going to have the same problems all over again

People who've sat there twice and ask people to sit down twice deserve to politely be told **** off this time around. The club made their efforts to accommodate them but some refuse to follow those efforts.

They're doing the stands by block to attempt to put like-minded fans together, they can't really do much more.

Seeing as only 2 sections of the East Stand stand up expect lots of arguments if they aren't all sat together and spread amongst the sit down keep quiet lot. It is to be hoped that the non passholders who get a ticket are not more of the rug and flask brigade.

Well, they could. It wouldn't have been difficult to seperate noisy blocks and sit-down-in-silence-and-crave-your-missing-flask blocks. We asked for singing sections and they gave us family sections.

It wouldn't be difficult for them to say "would you like to jump about like a lunatic and bellow your support for the team for 90 minutes, or would you like to sit in near silence with a nice cup of tea and debate the previous weeks episodes of antiques roadshow and cash in the attic?"

And not all fans are seated with like minded fans, we tried to move out of the family south stand in the summer but the useless twats allowed new applicants to pick their seats before letting current passholders move, and by the time that was done there were no vacant blocks of 4 for us to move out the family stand to. I'm going to put in a strong request this time around as many parents around me seemed infuriated when I snapped and shouted "die you useless ****ing ****!" at the referee. I was a bit ashamed that the little kiddies had to hear it but I know what I'm like at a football match and sometimes words are released before brain is engaged which is the reason I tried to move.

Their problem is that they can't ask people if they want to stand and if they simply ask people if their going to be vocal, almost everyone would probably say yes.

They've obviously used the family sections to at least try and keep some of the quieter types together, though I'm not sure why they've stuck one of them on the ground level. Having been at every FA Cup final since new Wembley opened, I can tell you that nobody sits down on the ground level.

You've got a point, but those who really don't want to - or can't - stand, jump about, act like Derek Acorah posessed, would know more to stay away from a 'vocal' section, where as a family section just implies its to go sit with the young little kiddies. So all the pissy pants sit down and be quiet coffin dodger/accountant types will be in with the rest of us and whinging constantly.

First time for everything my friend and new ground will be broken this May. Prepare to see the whole bottom tier sitting on their arses minus the odd small pocket who end up getting harassed by stewards after flaskers in close proximity are sickened by having their view restricted and ring the anti social behaviour number.

Surely blocks 108 to 111 and 510-511 are being saved for East Stand?

Sense would say keep your vocal support together as a 12th man, blocks blocked together, the passive flasker block in 112-115 is worrying and should have been pushed into the corners or sides.

I'm in 112 and I can assure you I won't be quiet!! It's the FA cup! I've been brought up watching the 9am starts when they go to the hotel and link the managers up for a chat, then watch the coaches leave for their journey to the ground ( usually half an hour ) I've sat in front of the TV as a lad glued there! First memory is Fulham v west ham. I'm row 17 and theirs 9 of us I can assure you we're gonna enjoy ourselves!

Fortunately the backs of blocks 113 and 114 are still available for either South or East to project some sound over the flaskers sat in front.

    It's not.

It is the upper tier though. I was up there for the semi (in 501) and it was pretty amazing. Good atmosphere, amazing view.
