Do you think I should approach QPR officially and ask if I can take the drum?

That's one of the reasons I really hope we do this. Flyer will fling himself into the Thames at high tide!

Why not mate? The worst they will do is say no. Who not start a thread asking for support from folks on here because you can then approach them stating that xx QPR fans support your idea of trialing the drum.

I've just rang them and asked them. They've taken my details and will ask further up. I told them my reasons (to inject a bit of energy into things at LR) and I told them it'd be nice to use it on Saturday and the home leg of the playoff semis. We'll see.

Normally I hate some idiot at the away end hitting a drum for 90 minutes, I usually want hit him after about 30. Terrible drummers are all too common in Norway, 1 drummer in the huge away contingent of 13, trying to make out like they are an army. But I bet you drum like Stan Bowles feet going past defenders Awjm, so why not!

Well, if they allow it I won't just bang away at it. I'll use my insight and gauge the general mood of the supporters around me to see how pissed off they are. So I'll either keep it down a bit and not bang all game long or, if they're up for it, I'll bang away.

I'm actually a drummer and I play a full kit, so hopefully there will be some rhythm involved!

To block on Ellerslie. Last season I was in R block but I'm closer to family this time.

I recon you'll hear the drum wherever you're sitting!

It certainly is an unusual season, with the team finishing 2nd on such a high points total.
