I'd be over the moon mate if he won the FA Cup, if it means Arsenal going another year empty handed, he could go on and manage England to world cup victory this summer and still have no chance of being appointed United manager though!

I think Ancelotti would be a good choice, big name, big personality, tactically excellent, mega successful, oozes class and an absolute winner. van Gaal seems a good fit as well, and I think there's a strong chance it's one of those 2, they need an imposing, respected figure to go in. Klopp was clearly and quite correctly first choice, he'd be absolute dynamite at any big club, the very fact that he classes 2 titles and a CL final as unfinished business shows the calibre of the man, I'm not sure he can be totally ruled out just yet. One of those 3, I don't see any other real candidates.
If I could take any manager in the world right now, I've always liked Hiddink. Nads informed me that he's taking over form Van Gaal at Holland though, so that's a non-starter. I'd also consider taking Zinedine Zidane if it was up to me, just cos I love the bloke, absolutely guarantee despite his inexperience as a manager that the players would listen to that God of a man, or he'd headbutt them. I'd actually prefer an English coach/manager to any of them though, Scholes and Neville would be too perfect for us, it seems like destiny that one of the class of 92 will go on to be manager.
Sholes, Neville, Beckham...Although Beckham is a bit busy, that fooker has done really well for himself, i like him. What about someone like Cantona?
I know he has had a tough time of it with Cardiff (although you just never know) if you wanted to go down that route, Solskjaer would be an interesting choice. He did help Molde to their first ever league win. Regardless of the league, that is still impressive!
I wasn't thinking of Beckham to be fair, I'd limit it to Giggs, Scholes and most importantly Neville (love him). Fergie wouldn't allow Becks on board. Cantona would be fantasy, but to be realistic, he'd probably be **** at the job... The press conferences would be funny though!
Ole-Gunnar deserves better than that prat at Cardiff, I think he'll do well long term. I'd have liked him to get a job alongside Phelan as his number two, to ease him into English football but he's gone and jumped into a proper **** job, can't see him saving them although I think he'll beat your lot again If he takes Cardiff down and Tan sticks with OGS, I think they'll be straight back up, it's more Ole's level right now I think and I think he'll do well with a pre-season under his belt. Having said that, Tan looks like the kind of bloke who'll liquidate Cardiff if they go down.
He's a director mate, he makes important decisions at the club in an official capacity, it's what he's paid for nowadays so I guess he's got some swing yeah.
It's kind of like asking you lot if Quinn was good for you, there's gonna be good and bad points to the appointment. With Fergie it's like having a teacher stood over your shoulder for the manager, it must be unnerving (Which is why we need a big character), but for what he's done for us, nobody could deny him of his role at the club, he's always gonna be the boss.
Eleven (maybe less) dustbins could beat us at the moment . OGS needs a chance at a proper club. You'd be better off with a man with presence though. Someone who has won things. The players did not respect trophyless Moyes. Van Gaal or Ancelloti would be perfect.
Would you respect your boss if he come and took over your business and the first thing he did was fire all of your good staff and replace them with hard boiled eggs and expected to succeed? The trophyless part probably had little bearing on their respect for him to be honest.
