Always liked him as player. Same sort of style as Chambo, very quick and chips in with a fair few goals (the wonder goal against QPR springs to mind). He's somebody I don't know too much about, but always seems to be highly rated. Wouldn't be cheap though considering he cost Bristol £2.25 million.
Yeah thats impressive, but i'm sure he doesn't do it week in week out. He would be a good player to have probably, but it also looks like we wont get him.
I dont see why not. It just depends how much Cortese is willing to pay to bring him in. If Leicester, Forest , West ham and Saints all want him to badly, City will just sell to the highest bidder. Simples.
The thing is, noone knows what sort of money you have got available so it is quite hard to gauge what sort of players you would be after.....
Exactly what we need. Someone who is not a afraid to shoot from around the box. Apart from Lambert, we dont really have another player like that. But like DTLW said, I cant see us paying out that much for one player, but you never know. Nice to see people getting excited though. It's about time we had a bit of factual transfer news to talk about.
True but no one knows really how much the owners and prepared to put it.............. What is your managers Transfer budget likely to be?
I don't think anybody really knows that. Anybody who says we have millions to spend could be being a trifle over optimistic. I'm personally not expecting any signings above £2 million, and if we get more than one or two above £1 million i'd also be shocked.
i agree even though i am a bmth fan i dont think you have loads of money to spend at all.. I also agree that i could see maybe £2million max spent. Still buy a couple of decent players but it is picking those right players out.
