Don't really agree. I think we need a finished article of a manager this time, we can't really afford to take a chance and it all go tits up. Again. The only manager with potential I personally would be happy to go with would be Martinez, as it's fairly clear he has what it takes.
Martinez is obviously quality. Rodgers was a punt that paid off beyond expectations tbf. Even Liverpool didn't expect this type of season.
The ******ed scousers had a lucky season. The refs and the challengers are handing them gifts. We need to copy them like we need a hole in the head...
It is a one off season for the ******ed scousers and in my view more to do with the refs than tikitaka's ability
I disagee and fully believe we will challenge again next season while also doing well in the Champions League. The world is ours my delusion is in overdrive every year is now our year. Will you offer congratulations if we win the league Christian?
That is why you are called the ******ed scousers... If you win the title fair and square without decisions in your favour by the refs in every match why not? Having said that the ******ed scousers have had dodgy decisions for them whilst their challengers have had awful decisions against them. It is almost as if there was some conspiracy to hand them the title. I cannot see that trend stopping now!
Can you hear the sound of the fans of every other PL team, since its inception, collectively face palm to this
Its funny with the legend that was never ending Fergie time till Manchester UTD got the goals they needed to see the refs blamed for the league. I do agree with the thread name of finding a manager who likes the style of football to suit the club though but I wouldnt call it Liverpools way. I always see Manchester UTD as the club that just outscores whatever the other team does so maybe such a defensive minded Manager like Moyes was never going to be the right fit
I don't really see how "taking note from Liverpool" is a very good idea, does that mean we should go 20+ years without winning a the league title and spend the next 7 as mid table ****e? I suppose it would also involve hiring numerous managers, spending a lot of money on players like Andy Carroll and just praying that everyone has a bad season to get a shot at the title? Sounds like a great idea
You are a very bitter young man. I don't think many LFC fans are predicting a period of dominance, but I think we will be regularly in the top 4. I genuinely hope united are up there too next season. I have enjoyed laughing at you this year, but I am bored now. Would quite like a good rivalry with you and Everton and see some southerners like Arsenal, Spurs and the Chavs collapse. That would be ideal.
I have doubts we'll be in title hunt next year... I think top 3 again would be good. After that? Who knows- football trends are bloody hard to predict when you look out more than a few months. Anything can happen.
