I think that we must look at young emerging talent in our quest for the holy grail so I,LL start the ball rolling with the ones I rather like
Guedetti cost about £1.5m age 21 and would be a real handful in the championship
Tom Hitchcocki at present on loan to Rotherham from QPR I really liked the composure of this boy when I saw him score a hattrick for the Millers age 22
Jamie Murphy tore forest apart with his electric pace age 24
David Bentley 20 year old goalkeeper for Southend a real prospect so should make a good investment
Winnall Scunthorpe 20 Scunny have a knack of bringing out good young talent and this lad may fit the billleft by Hooper Barrie Thomas Keegan etc

We've already been linked to David Bentley

One such striker I have also seen us linked with is Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari, believe me if we sign this guy he'll become the best striker in the championship. I wasn't aware he was at Cagliari

Its one thing to play in La Liga where they get a bit more time on the ball, it's another thing entirely to play in the championship. That said, he'll bring some natural ball control that maybe has been lacking from some of our players in the recent past.

Pretty sure Cagliari are italian and therefore play in the Serie A and not La Liga

Oh dear .. Wallies can only dream about signing ANY players never mind those from Cagliari ... I would really like to see us go and get Bamford from Chelsea

Would love to see Bamford in a Leeds shirt but buying him would be out of the question (no way Chelsea would sell), perhaps on loan (if Derby don't seal that deal first).

Wickers I think it will come down to the loaning club's manager ... Chelsea will definitely feel that Bamford can progress well under Steve McLaren, and maybe Mourinho will consider sending him to Boro to play for his pal Karanka ... if we retain McD I'm not sure how Chelsea will think, even though McD is highly regarded within the game as a coach ... Bamford will have to be a purchase because I can only see him going to Derby/Boro on loan UNLESS another Prem club tries to land him

I just get the feeling that Chelsea regard Bamford very highly as "one for the future" hence why I don't think they'd sell, but things can change very quickly of course.

As you say, things change very quickly ... Roman has never been one for the "let's keep him for five seasons and see if he comes good" approach, and if Chelsea don't win the Prem and Chumps Lge then its all change again, which means players like Bamford will be sacrificed to make way for the stars ... Vamos Madrid!!
