Strange. Doesn't appear to be a falling out. Perhaps he's had an offer elsewhere. Good luck to the big guy.

Would have liked him to stay...get him trained up to take over from Lennon...

Maybe that's the thinking behind this, he goes home to Sweden to gain managerial experience. Comes back when Lennon moves on.

Maybe, as long as Dolph identifies transfer targets.

Shame as I think the more defensive minded players have improved working with him. Hope he is replaced and hope they bring in an equally talented striking coach

One of the many random theories floating around my head was that Mjallby and Lennon worked well between the two of them, because they had both worked under O'Neill during the Seville era, and the flaws in one could be adjusted by the calming effect of the other, etc.

I might, of course, be completely wrong - but there's a chance that Lennon could go to ****e by himself (he's already done some worryingly megalomaniacal things with the likes of the NeilLennon.com official site)

Hopefully we can recruit someone with a completely different background and give us new ideas. Probably time to freshen it up.

Concern will be as Mick says lennons ego. lennon may not want to accept anyone else with different ideas than him, or anyone with a high profile if he fears they might outshine him. For instance Larsson doesnt have a job at the minute. Im not saying he should be assistant manager but what would it do for our misfiring strikers like pukki and balde to have someone like him come in and work with them. But im not sure Lennon would accept his help

Sounds like he needs a new challenge. I'd be surprised if Lennon doesn't follow suit. Four years as manager of Celtic is long enough for any man.

If Lennon leaves this summer we're getting Owen Coyle or Malky McKay as our next manager. <doh>

    I'd rather keep Lennon.

Not a bad manager and I think he'd do pretty well on most fronts, but I don't trust him on signing players for value.

Look at the ****e he bought for Cardiff this year.

Larson is manager of Falkenbergs FF, I believe they are some sort of terrorist freedom fighting football team.

Mjallby has a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome.

Henrik will be our next manager or I`m a dirty orange bastard.

We should go for that Fergie guy before Man Utd snap him up to replace Big Ron.

Some of the suggestions from fans online to replace Mjallby are ****ing magic.

Bobo Balde or Rab Douglas because they both played with Lennon. <laugh>

    Larsson <laugh>

    Scott Brown <laugh> <laugh>
