Wrong as usual. The Sunderland game was a Sky game on a Sunday. Sunderland did not refuse to move it. They agreed to move it, along with the Premier League and Sky to a Saturday to help us in Europe. <ok><applause>

Jose M: ""When the Premier League decide to put that Liverpool game on Sunday, when Liverpool refuse to play on a Saturday, it is a decision I have to make with the club, if the club wants to go with everything in direction of the Champions League I am ready for that.
"The Premier League should fight for our game being on the Saturday," said Mourinho. "They should fight. We ask, ask, ask to play on the Saturday. No."
"We represent English football and we are the only English team that is in European competition. Spain has four and gave them all the conditions to try to have success.
"The Premier League should [fight for our match to be played on Saturday]. We have a big match on Wednesday that can give Chelsea another Champions League final, we ask, ask and asked again to play on the Saturday.
"I know what I would do, but I'm not the club. I have to speak with the club."

Jose needs to learn the English Premier League doesnt evolve around Chelsea!

The PL did the right thing by telling him to shut up

Nope, I would stick with Rodgers, Jose plays boring football.

Do you think any Liverpool fan would trade winning and exciting football for Jose style of play?

Sunderland agreed but Liverpool didn't. I wonder if Liverpool were looking to take advantage of us having a eye on a CL tie three days later rather than four.

Not very sporting but the Premier league should step in and force LFC to comply... there again imagine the fuss a club like Liverpool would make.

Sunderland agreed and their match was crucial to their relegation battle

So about 45,000 fans should have their weekend plans ****ed with almost no notice just because Chelsea scrape through with a late deflection against PSG?

Three days is fine. Especially since you are at home FFS.

With it being just a day earlier though surely you'd still play a weakened team if thats what Chelsea are really going to do. Cant see what massive difference a day makes

For all you know there could be legitimate reasons for not moving, Jose does try to stir things sometimes

Well if your going to play a team who will come to park the bus at Anfield, you rather have it close to another big game, so they can rest players.

    Makes sense.

In 2012, it was because Liverpool did not want to play on the Hillsborough anniversary so we played a cup semi on a Sunday before playing Barca away. A day does make a huge difference. Three days rest/training rather than two.
You would have thought that Liverpool might want to help us in Europe and return the favour we did them in 2012.
There will always be champions league games around the Hillsborough anniversary.
Maybe we won't do them a fAvour next time
