Paper... old payslips, bank statement and other crap that's just been piling up! I've got 2 conference calls later so will probably find something to do during them
I've got every payslip I ever had and have no intention of getting rid of them. Also got all my P60s too.
Why?! What use are they all If I need them I can just get someone at work to print me one, but once I've checked the money is right I have no need for them. I had them going back to Jan 2013 but binned them all and just kept last months.
Tax office were seven years behind at one point, no idea where they are at now but if something comes up I have records. Of course, having your P60s covers it anyway. With the second bit, I run the payroll so have every payslip on file too
Fair enough. I work with Payroll team so if needed can just get them to re-print something for me. No idea what I've done with my P60... haven't needed my previous ones yet (to be honest not entirely sure what you actually need them for)?
What if you had a fall out and had to leave? Keeping P60s is better than payslips but as you've already said, its unlikely you'll need them.
