I thought he was toilet anyway. Put his foot in and said the right things when at the club which will always endear him to some fans but technically hes game was very flawed, always seemed to need an extra touch when in possesion which always slowed down the pace of our attacks. It is no surprise that Sheff Wed started to climb the table once he got injured. I am not surprised by these comments, given his recent long term injury I would have thought these comments are designed to remind people he is still around and loves the club in the hope of earning a new deal.
It was pure scripted "agent speak" spouted by someone clearly not blessed with many brain cells. At one point you can almost seeing him looking up to the bloke standing behind the camera holding the cue cards up "I - LOVE - THIS -....CLUB"
And four or five months after he had supposedly decided he wanted to play for Wednesday, he was saying to the SLP that he wanted to stay at Charlton for life. It's transparent agent talk. As said, he can stay at Wednesday forever. Stephens, Hollands and now Cousins and Poyet were an improvement on him. I think it will be there somewhere me saying I didn't want his contract renewed in 2011. Now all we need is Therry Racon saying he wants to stay wherever he is (Millwall? Portsmouth?)
