It was only a year ago that Palace fans were whinging about our effective winning football whilst they watched us galloping to auto promo, and their cheating fancy-dan style was only good enough for the playoffs.

I cant remember anyone moaning at Hull last season.

The only moaning I can remember is with Holloway who took over a team that was top of the league and very nearly missed out on the playoffs.

Last season we had virtually the same defensive players as this season and upfront we had Bolasie and Zaha on each wing with the top championship scorer in Murray upfront, its been argued that we may of had a stronger team last year that this, if we'd have had a half decent manager instead of that clown Holloway we would have finished top.

I wish Hull all the best, I think its good that 2 promoted teams have survived although I really hope Cardiff go down.

I haven't watched palace for a month or so and rarely watch match of the day but pretty much everything I've seen of you has been ping it onto Chamaks head and play for second balls.

Not the stats that matter but we gave Arsenal a game of football on Sunday, and aside from fury at a corrupt ref I left the ground satisfyingly entertained. We played well and played some nice stuff, I know we all want to win but football is entertainment at the end of the day and if you leave the ground entertained then its happy days, that's the main thing.

If we're going to lose if rather lose 3-0 playing football and seeing some top class play (from both sides) then lose 1-0 seeing my team set up camp in our own box, do nowt but time waste and never commit more than 2/3 players forward in attack and lose to a scrappy goal that's a tap in from 8th touch of a scrappy corner.

If I was given the choice of indefinite mid table premier league finishes playing the Pulis/Alladyce way or entertaining attacking football in the championship I'd choose the latter for certain. Novelty wears off soon enough but the entertainment value is what keeps bringing us all back.

Can't agree with that. There were at least 4 better equipped sides personnel wise in the championship last season.

    Cardiff
Ourselves - remember we played the whole season without our first choice forward Fryatt and most of it without Aluko which showed in our struggle to score.
Watford - I know you beat them but they had a better squad
Leicester - unbelievable implosion, but just look how that same squad of players has done this season. I'm not even sure any of your current crop would get in that side. Bolasie and Ince aside (though I'd take Knockaert over Bolasie).
Wolves - **** knows what happened there but on paper, player for player, they were probably the strongest side in the division.

What you saw was the reward of stability and a side which has had time to grow into the mould the manager has set for it, before Freedman foolishly (in hindsight) jumped ship.

Off topic but - corrupt ref? Surely you dont mean Jelly's ridiculous dive that led to their 2nd goal? The ref was 100% correct not to give a foul.

Had it happened the other way, he'd have given it.

Well we dont know that do we? But even if he did, the fact remains he wouldve been wrong to do so and he was right in what he actually did.

I was on about the whole game. As OLM said the other way he'd have given it, in fact he did when Giroud threw himself on the floor after minimal contact from Elmo. So many things were a foul if we committed them but not if it was Arsenal. He was a biased corrupt **** and no mistake.

Watch the Giroud 'foul' on the corner of our box. Elmo nicked the ball through his legs by surprise and Giroud chucked himself on the ground. Almost identical situation and the ****ing **** gave it.

I hope Jon Moss dies in a car crash.

That happens every single game of football that ever takes place - the ref gives a decision for something and then doesnt when it happens again.

I can't believe you're defending the ref, he was so ****ing one sided it was embarrassing.

I honestly, hand on heart, didnt see it that way. From watching at home I didnt think for a single second he showed any favouritsm and that one 'big decision' was 100% correct.

It must have looked different on the telly then, he was absolutely one sided, as anyone who was at the game will tell you.

Could that perhaps be a case of mob mentality then? And watching with the benefit of close-ups, multiple replays and different camera angles is something I'll have to get used to as I continue my extreme take on CTID and refuse to ever watch us at home again while HE is in charge.

    I dont agree there,

Bolasie, Zaha and Murray was the best forward forwards in the division last season by a country mile, the reason we didnt win the league is Holloway came in and we forgot how to defend! we starting conceeded 2 goals every week with pretty much the same defensive set up that is doing so well in the premierleague.

Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Jedinek and Bolasie and are flourishing in the premiership, I cant think of many players from Cardiffs championship team that are and no disrespect but I cant think of that many Hull players either.

Anyway im not here to upset anyone all wish you guys all the best

That's bollocks, you lost your first 3 games conceding 9 goals. Before Freedman left you'd conceded 25 in 15 games. In Holloway's first 15 games you conceded 17(4 in the cup replay to PL Stoke AET).

You finished the season in an elevated position because you'd gained at least 9 points from penalties, you even won the play off final with a pen. Take away the pens that Holloway got you playing for & you'd of finished mid table with a -ve goal difference.

You can't think of many of ours or Cardiff's players having a good season because you're as ignorant of our teams as you are of your own.

Not knocking your team. Every team should play to their strengths, it just so happens your team's strength is cheating.
