Surely Liverpool could play on a Saturday, or did they want the advantage of playing us on the Sunday in case we were still in the title shake up. Very unsporting of Liverpool if they are refusing to play on a Saturday. Especially as we played our cup semi v Spurs two seasons ago on a Sunday before we played Barca in yet another European Cup semi because Liverpool did not want to play on the 23rd anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. Totally agree, the game should be moved to the Saturday. The PL never do English sides any favours in Europe. No one should ever be playing on a Sunday before a CL game
